ONE TWO AND THREES

STORY ONE:
DON'T CRY MEMPHIS!
03.01.2010
Memphis, TN

Forbes magazine has listed Memphis, Tennessee as one of its miserable cities. In protest, many active groups in Memphis are signing petitions, and the Mayor, A.C. Wharton has taken upon himself to contridict that Memphis is not a miserable city. The mayor has written a letter to Forbes stating such. He has also encouraged all citizens of Memphis to write the Forbes magazine and tell them we love our city and we are not miserable at all. The mayor feels that's another way to boost positivity in Memphis. He urges all Memphis and others to write Forbes an e-mail.

Wah! Wah! Forbes made Memphis Cry! It just isn't true!..

STORY TWO
NEW CEO FOR THE PUBLIC HOSPITAL
03.01.2010
Memphis, TN

Dr. Reginald Coopwood has been selected as New Med CEO. Coopwood is an experienced leader and knows what to expect in his new duties. Dr. Coopwood knows also that public hospitals mainly serve the poor and homeless and has the background of running the Nashville General Hospital for five years. Coopwood stated in a local paper " We have to change the conversation" "I want people to say The Med is the best hospital in this community; not just the best trauma center--the best hospital. That's a process, but that's where we're going." Dr. Coopwood is Nashville native and got his medical degree at Meharry Medical College. He has five-year general surgery residency and has practiced over 10 years. He was named Nashville's Genenal first Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Coopwood is also African-American. His top position at The Med may be watched with close observation, but his experience speaks in his appointment of the position. The Med is presently having money woes, and the hospital is near financial ruin.

I think he's qualified to handle The Med. He's ready to try anyway!
Sniff!...I'm just thinking about that "miserable " Forbes Story. .. I'm okay!

STORY THREE:

The 48 Hours Mystery Magazine show brought on national attention when actor Johnny Depp prompted the television magazine to examine evidence in the case named "The West Memphis Three. Depp feels that the conviction of three males were easy targets and insists they are innocent of doing the crime. Seventeen years ago three 8 years were brutally murdered in West Memphis, Arkansas. The case involves three teens who were convicted of murdering the youths, Steve Branch, Christoper Byers and Michael Moore in 1993. Depp made it clear in the televison interview that he felt connected with the experiences he had in common with Echols that drew his attention to the case. Particulary being look upon as a freak of nature. The controvesy goes further too, that the trio were devil worshippers and used the three youths as sacrifices in killing them. Depp insists however, there is not enough prevelant evidence that links these men to the crime and they should be set free.. Depp quoted "There is nat shred of evidence. There's nothing there. There's no physical evidence." The case remains closed and no re-invesigation will be held as of to date.

Interesting,...but it's a bit gruesome..
