The National Black TEEN Empowerment Expo: How Can You Help TEENS Believe and Succeed ? (372 hits)

The National Black TEEN Empowerment Expo (NBTEE) knows that if more of today’s TEENS were granted more positive opportunities and productive options, they would lead us all to brighter tomorrows and a better planet.

We are dedicated to helping our TEENS succeed in school and life.

The NBTEE knows there are many dedicated groups that provide valuable youth resources.

We are connecting our TEENS to these groups, and connecting these groups to one another and a more supportive community every day.

The NBTEE knows there are also many generous, caring people who are willing to be a resource for and to our TEENS.

We are a not-for-profit and all-about-progress coalition that gives these good souls great ways they can volunteer to help more of our TEENS every day.

The NBTEE knows that too much of our society and educational system, and many of our communities, are failing too many of our children. We know that most of our TEENS are not failing, but, in fact, we are failing too many of our TEENS.

With a variety of cultural, personal and professional youth development programs including powerful workshops like “I Can Do Anything” and engaging “edutainment” initiatives like “FAME: Fashion, Art, Music & Education”, we are inspiring TEENS every day.

Strategically applying a combination of media and technology, with community events (i.e., TEEN Hall Meetings) and national events (Black TEEN Empowerment Expos), we will show the world how smart, beautiful and creative our TEENS truly are, and build brighter futures for and with them every day.

The NBTEE knows Black America has all the resources to improve the quality of learning and living for our younger generation.

We are discussing, determining and delivering better ways to reach and teach today’s TEENS every day.

Like “The Better Detroit Youth Movement” and the new “Better Baltimore Youth Movement”, we are forming other community-powered, volunteer-driven organizations all over the country to help our children on the streets and in the schools, to leverage the value of collaboration and spirit of cooperation, and to create a national youth movement and stronger network of youth resources every day.
