Dear Irma: Not if the polls keep trending toward a more accepting view of the health care law. A friend of mine, who is a staunch conservative--more of the thoughtful, rlibertarian kind and not one of those rabid crazies--shocked me the other day by admitting how much he admired President Obama (who he did not vote for) for his reasonable and measured approach to passing the bill. He said he admired the President for standing upf or his principles even when the tide turned against him. I think a lot of Republicans are going to resign themsevles to this and take a more positive view of our President. HOpefully.

Well this coming election will be very interesting. Personally, I think the elephants will gain and the donkeys lose, coming out of this action. I am not saying that is the way it should be, only what I think it will be. Personally, I am going to be taking a hard look at the libertarian party. I cannot stand this situation of having to choose between elephant or donkey. Neither of these mainstream parties is doing what is necessary for Healthy Country Reform.

Irma, I am only making a political analysis that this will backfire on the Democrats. Simply a prediction. I myself support neither the Democrats, nor the Republican. I will vote for neither, to my mind they are one and the same when it comes to the health of this country. The only one of either party I would vote for is Ron Paul.

Clark, I only intend to look at the Libertarian platform, along with others. I believe in constitutional government. I don't believe the individual mandate is constitutional. I don't believe the constitution is a "living" document. I believe it is the law of the land and easily understood, and there is a legal way to change it, established by the authors of it. I believe it would be constitutional for the government to impose a tax to fund health care for the "public good" and would support that. I do believe that the two party system is the greatest detriment to this country's welfare, and it is kept in place by the detrimental ballot access laws. The Democrats have placed a HUGE burden on my children and grandchildren, through the issuance of valueless currency to support the level of spending we now have. It is a house of cards, I will be dead when it falls, but my progeny will be alive to suffer the consequences. I will not vote fo any Republican or Democrat, save Ron Paul.

Brother Cow, I didn't know you had posted a video similar to mine on the Boehner sitaution. It amazes me how you and I both think alike!!! Don't Republicans remind you of a 5 year old who didn't get their way? 1. John Boehner throwing a fit in the House of Representatives; 2. John McCain taking his ball and going home (metaphorically); 3. Eric Cantor passing the blame; 4. Michelle Bachmann acting like a schoolyard bully with her threats; Would they be in a better mood if we made them take a nap and gave them a cookie and a carton of chocolate milk?

Now the only reason I did not vote for Ron Paul the first time around was 1) I was not a registered Republican to vote in the Primary, and 2) for the election itself, he told me not to. He had rather been a Representative than a lost cause. We will see next time, he will be 78 right, but I think in better health than me at 54.

Clark, of course it was that Supreme Court decision I was trying to remember. I don't know where my mind is sometimes, it was not that long ago after all. You have presented an excellent analysis once again, and in this case I think the founders could not have anticipated a Corporate America as we now have, and so we do not have guidance from the Constitution in this case, just our good common sense, which seems to have fled us. But I am going to read my Constitution, just in case there is something there on this issue. And Irma, after we have read our Constitution, I think it's an excellent idea for us to read this new bill, and I will gladly take part, I will go and find the final signed version on the web. But I suspect the Health Care Bill will be much more of a challenge to understand than the Constitution.

Clark, As 14 states are suing over the health care bill, it could be argued that they are really suing over the lobby influence that led to the bill. So maybe, if this many states object to what is going on, what is needed is a campaign for an amendment to the Constitution that would abolish this now legal bribery of our Congress. And that I believe would trump the Supreme Court decision, would it not?

Hello, I noticed that some of you give credence to parties other than a two party system. There should never be more parties than the two party system of government White America presently have and this here is why. A two party system provides perfect balance. We see this perfect balance in creation as in East and West, up and down, black and white, good and evil, am I right. Any thing other than a two party system would create chaos. Is that a rational thought? In other words, once a third-party system is accepted then you must be aware of a fourth, fifth, sixth and the amount of parties could never end, am I right. The obligation of any group of people having different views that neither the two-party system embraces is to breathe into one of the parties closest to their views their ideas instead of corrupting the balance of the two-party system, am I right. I believe that the way all of you presently rationalizes adds to the present chaos of things, am I right. Tell me what you think.

Brother Harry, Many countries have more than 2 parties. Some (I am going from memory now, so don't hold me to it if I'm wrong) are England, France, and Israel. And at one time tere was only one party in the U.S. See the link I posted in my blog on the Health Care Bill failure: http://indopedia.org/United_States_Democra... The two party system is a perfect balance only in the sense that they are bedfellows and act in concert.

You are as informed and knoweldgeable as any professional political science professor. And your writing style is fluiid and easy for us laymen to understand. Hello, Clark said that the Democrats are the party of the people. Well, so is the Republican the party of the people, am I right. When I read, Mr. Clark’s post there is no doubt he is partial to the Democrats and therefore a straight and an intelligent answer could not come from Mr. Clark, am I right. So, what is the fundamental difference between the Democratic way of thinking and the Republicans way of thinking, does anyone know as much politics as you all discuss? Tell me what you think.

Brother Harry, What I meant by bedfellows, well that would be like two lovers. They love each other more than the people they profess to represent and act together in their own interests, just as you would expect from lovers. Whom do you suppose Moses loved more, Zipporah or Israel?

Hello Clark, Specifically, I think that you have mis-understood me. My accusing you of being partial came from how you expressed your favorable feelings towards the Democrats and not from the phrase, “the party of the people”. I believe that a government that has the responsibility to protect and defend its citizens from foreign attacks. Likewise, inherent in the responsibility to protect and defend is also have the responsibility of providing all the necessary, essential basic services to its citizens. Does that make sense to you or am I a weirdo? Anyway, let me ask you this hypothetical question. January 1, 2011 Black Americans will come into possession of a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. What sort of government would you be in favor of Black Americans having? In other words, based on the problems incurred by all previous governments, e.g. parliamentary, Democratic, dictatorial, communistic, King, monarchy etc. what sort of government would be better or superior to those I just mentioned? What say you?

Hello Steve, Firstly, the Republicans and Democrats are adverse as Romeo is to Casanova to win the heart of Juliet, am I right. Consequentially, your idea of Republicans and Democrats being bedfellows is absolutely absurd and without sense. FYI, Steve, I was wrong about Moses lived for 140 years. He lived for 120 years. Nevertheless, my point was that the Children of Israel was and was not ready to leave Egypt when Moses was anointed. That he spent time raising their awareness that their only permanent solution they had was to leave Egypt and God was with them to do so. Now, you asked this question, “Whom do you suppose Moses loved more, Zipporah or Israel?” Moses loved Israel more than his wife and children. Jethro brought Zipporah to Moses in the desert, but she left and went with her father supposedly back home. Tell me what you think.

Brother Harry, Moses was already divorced from Zipporah when they came to him in the wilderness. Now you are correct Moses loved Israel more, because before entering Canaan, Moses sent the army against the Midians because of Bael-Peor. When the army came back without having killed all the women, Moses was angry and sent them back to kill all the women who were not virgins. This would have included Zipporah presumably. So, enough of the bible lessons. The Republicans and Democrats have both spent beyond our means, and the Democrats have aided Corporate America as much as the Republicans. Neither serve the people well. The difference between the two parties is an illusion. Just as in the Super Bowl they are all football players and the World Series they are all baseball players. It does not matter who wins really, it is all just a game to them. And The People continue to believe they have reason to celebrate when their team wins.

Hello Steve, Let us be sensible. There must be and there is a fundamental difference between the Democrats and the Republicans’ way of thinking. The two parties are at each other’s throats. Is that not obvious to you? Therefore, how could you say in good faith that the differences between the two parties are an illusion to the people? Could it be that you are speaking out of frustration and not out of sound reasoning? Tell me what you think.

Brother Harry, There are issues where there are real differences of course, such as abortion. But there are anti-abortion Democrats, and pro-abortion Republicans. Hawks and Doves on both sides, etc. But when it comes to the good of this country, for the most part, we are not properly represented by either side. Now when you say they are at each other's throats, it is more like World Wrestling Entertainment. There are probably some people that still believe that's the real thing.

Hello Steve, You said this, “There are issues where there are real differences of course,……we are not properly represented by either side. ……it is more like World Wrestling Entertainment.” Please explain how the American citizens are not properly represented that it would seem to you that Capitol Hill is as entertainment as world wrestling is. Then what sort of government structure would be ideal other than three party systems? Now, since you feel this way about White America then could you appreciate the dire conditions of Black Americans why they should inherit a portion of this continent to become a sovereign people that they could govern themselves? So, could you handle both questions and give your explanation? If not then choose what you could handle, okay. Tell me what you think.

Brother Harry, You were correct in your earlier post. Much of what I've said on this blog has been said out of frustration and I will admit to exaggeration. Here's the deal. The economic bust we are now experiencing, which will go down in our children's and grandchildren's history books as The Second Great Depression, was not caused by the government, and cannot be cured by the government. It was a necessary result of the economic boom in the early 90's, which resulted directly from the growth of the Internet. This I know for a fact, because I was one of those who developed the Internet. I was there. Many want to say that Bill Clinton created that economic prosperity. That is a lie. Bill Clinton was simply in the right place at the right time. I lived in California during this period. California had a budget SURPLUS in those years. The depression that we are in now was well under way in 2001. Here is a report from the California State Controller in 2001: http://www.sco.ca.gov/Files-EO/economic_ec... The bottom line is that the money we are now printing, to make the politicians look good, has nothing to back it. It is DEBT, and it is being placed on our children and grandchildren. And that is the source of my concern, a concern for all our CHILDREN. Black, white, hispanic, chinese, who the hell cares what COLOR!? I have much study to do Harry. I need to finish a report on Race to the Top, review the U.S. Constitution, research a Third Party Option, etc. So I will be back to you. You've made a good start on this blog Harry, continue your research, beyond the book of Exodus, and maybe we can come up with some answers.

Hello Steve, Let me briefly say this, the link that you provided is specifically about California’s economic problems in the early 2000. So, it has nothing to do with the Internet, okay. Actually, my question was what is the difference between the Republican thinking and the Democratic thinking. I think we all move in a way from my question. It seems to me that you do not know the differences between the two major parties way of thinking and it is all right. So, go ahead and finish up your studies and research. Tell me what you think.

Hello Clark, I understand the common phrase; “party of the people” was not expressing your personal feelings. I said that your personal feelings are expressed in the surrounding words and not specifically in the phrase, “party of the people”. For instance, much of your rhetoric is bias of Republicans when my question was trying to extract an impartial view of what fundamental difference is there in the way each party thinks. I believe that you are being sidetracked based on your overwhelming desire to blast me. You said that the Republicans represent corporations. Well, suppose there were not any corporations. Would there still be a profound difference in the way Republicans think versus Democrats? I remember a person saying to me that the Republicans being conservative represent no growth while the Democrats being liberal represent growth. So, I walked away with the understanding of, growth versus no growth. Tell me what you think.

Brother Harry, Well what do you think happened before 2000? Like I said Harry, I was there, physically in California, and economically in the stock market. My company's stock gained 3500% from the time we went public in 1994 until somewhere around 2000. Okay. Before the downturn in 2000-2001, California had a budget surplus of 6.6 billion. I will not post any more links, to me they are just reminders. To you, you have no knowledge of this and are unwilling to do the research. Now I have been watching the Republicans and Democrats for 36 years and I know DAMN WELL what they SAY is the difference and what is REALLY no difference. This DEPRESSION started around 2001. Period. Okay.

Brother Harry, The housing market was the last to go, correct. By that time the writing was on the wall, because the stock market had already tanked, but people refused to see it. We do need some ones in these races to force all of them off their scripted taling points which is all any of them are doing so far and will continue to do so...Actually I like what Palin did today which as usual she left people ringing their heads...that mess of a speech she did today I can tell just by the peoples she was speeking before were not empressed.... these people's energy and actual intrest in Palin today (as I sensed it) had about as much interest and excitment in her as she did in them...MONEY CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS as was shown today as I watched or forced myself to watch all of palin's speech... I was just so embarrassed in watching this woman today, I actually felt som paings of guilt for watching her fall so hard on her face...there is no way even as dumb and empty headed as she seem to be that even she know she was a flop today...(smile) AND, THIS IS GOING TO GO ON UNTIL ALMOST 8 MORE MONTHS...don't forget the war in Iraq will end before then...oh, and the unemployment check will maybe run out while they are on vacation...when will the GOP try to understand taht republicans are also out of jobs and are poor...I JUST CAN NOT BELIEVE THE GOP'S AMOUNT OF BRAINWASHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(smile) I JUST CAN NOT...

That's alright Theresa, disrespect like any thing else (at least to me) is still disrespect...but this is why I take everyone as an individual and not a lobel or a group and this responsibility is on me and me alone..."I" never find any excuse not to treat others as "I" want to be treated...and my goal in life it to learn and to try my best to TEACH / show theRE is always another version of any story. .. Saves so much time and energy and bad feelings and always lead to an open dialogue...this in turn always leads to peace minus war. THIS IS TEH MISSION STATEMENT OF THIS SITE. (smile)

Poor Prophet, he is still seeking advice on what god had already inspired him to do...no wonder he is still wandering out there in the siderness of the White man...like the words nation, religion, religious, black Americans ahve already been created by the people with white skin...don't forget the Jews are not considered as Black, Harry so how is Clark going to be able to help you as he used teh white man's books to kearn his language and he sure is not seeking GOD he is already living proof of the words of God is a great thing for America and black Americans...again Clark can talk about things he has done and I can talk about some of the things he ahs done already to help Black America as I am a black American. steve trying to get some truths and realitys to Harry is like trying to fight the governor from making the disabled in this state to not become homeless beacus he continues to take their moneys put therefore them by the tavpayers for them not to become homeless or die of hunger or lack of medial care...as medial is almost nonexistance in this state or money to keep our schools open...and, why is this..well it is because the voices of the politicians wh caused this is much louder in blaming our president who had nothing to do with our gorernor borrowing from the education funds and not being able to pay it back... Louder than those law suits against this state for making prisons a killing ground of needless deaths because this state was so busy paying out giant checks to doctors who were not doing any medial care...but they sure did make a lot of giant campaign donations. (I am not smiling, but tiings are going to CHANGE for the better) There is one blessing that comes with the campaign fever...all of the hidden dirt comes to light and this time all of this country will be listening, because what is being said is about them...I believe that those "I" will do this and I will do that as these things are needed YESTERDAY WHILE THEY WERE IN OFFICE AND GOT THERE SAYING THOSE SAME OLD LIES.(smile) I do believe that the public is as fed up with what these politicians are GOING TO DO FOR THEM IF JUST GIVEN A CHANCE TO FOLLOW THEM IS ABOUT AS USEFUL IN 2010 AS HARRY'S TALKING POINTS ARE TO US.lol Thanks prophet Harry as you can continue to remind us all that we want CHANGE and things done right now and not when you figure out how to make our lives better using the Bernie Maddoff scheme and the Enron bookkeeping (smile)

And, thank you Steve for the Constitution link...now what should we be looking at in it in specific more than any thing else...and steve you also should put up a blog on these parts of teh Constitution that we come up with as the main parts to study... WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT AND WE SHOULD BE MAKING OUR POLITICIANS TAKE A LOOK AT OUR SITES...I AM SURE TAHT THE DO SPEND TIME LOOKING AT THE BEST KNOW SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES...THEY NEED TO START LOOKING AT CONSTRUCTIVE DIALOGUES ON TEH NET AS WE HAVE IN OUR COMMUNITY. (smile) Have any of us though taht our politicians are in teh same boat as us...they are seeking the besta nd most constructive way to help our country at tis critical time...they have no guide book for what is happening in O-U-R country...this sure is not like the 60s because the White people were not fighting amonge themselves as they are today...the 60s was not about something brand new in America...we must all unite as ONE from the bottom to the top and all in between if we want to win this battle...YES WE CAN...(smile)
