Reading an internet article earlier today I came across and article about Americans who believe in heaven. Since most Christians will be celebrating the upcoming celebration of Easter they focus their belief on the rising of Jesus Christ from the grave. Back to the article. The article stated that 80% of Americans believe in heaven. The article is based on a book title Heaven, Our Enduring Fascination with the Afterlife written by author, Lisa Miller. In the book the author outlines that believers in heaven haven't the slightest clue about what it means in terms of what to expect when going there. The author noted that everyone who agrees with the existence of heaven and that it is a good place to go after death. Another point she makes is that all of us have bodies of heaven: selves, consciousness, and identity and that the it is a struggle for the reward of faith. The following excerpt is from her book: People yearn for inexplicable event, a new kind of life, the birth of the Christian community on earth, the renewal of people and individual's spiritual rebirth, and bodiless ascensin to God. Progressive frequently fall back on resurrection-as-metaphor, for it allows them to celebrate Easter while also expecting a ersonable agnosticism. They quote that great theological cop-out. "We cannot know what God has in store for me." My conception of the author's article is that she tends to leave the reader with their own views of heavens beliefs and the miracle of the resurrection. The other 20% percentage may not include Christians, but other facets of religions and practices. She however, concludes that believers of heaven are usually acting on their own personal beliefs, not necessarily inconclusive that facts heaven may or may not actually is in existance.

In AlQur'aan------Sûrat An-Naba’ (The Great News) --
The Creator of Adaam says in translated English.
In the Name of Allâah,
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
1. What are they asking one another about?
2. About the great news, Monotheism, AlQur’âan, which Prophet Mohamed Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã brought and the Day of Resurrection.
3. About things which you are in disagreement.
4. No, they will come to know!
5. No, again, they will come to know!
6. Have We not made the earth as a resting place,
7. And the mountains as anchors?
8. And We have created you in pairs, male and female - tall and short, good and bad.
9. And We have made your sleep as a thing for rest.
10. And We have made the night as a covering through its darkness,
11. And We have made the day for livelihood and discovery.
12. And We have built above you seven firm heavens,
13. And We have made there a shining lamp- sun.
14. And We have sent down from the rainy clouds abundant water.
15. That We may produce vegetations,
16. And gardens of thick growth.
17. Truly, the Day of Decision is a fixed time,
18. The Day when the Loud Sound will be blown, and you shall come forth in crowds.
19. And the heaven shall be opened, and it will become as gates,
20. And the mountains shall be moved away from their places and they will be as if they were a mirage.
21. Truly, Hell is a place lying in wait -
22. A dwelling place for the Tâghûn (those who transgress the boundary limits set by Allâah - like polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâah, hyprocrites, sinners, criminals),
23. They will abide therein for ages.
24. Nothing cool shall they taste, nor any drink.
25. Except boiling water, and dirty wound discharges -
26. An exact reward according to their work.
27. For Truly, they denied and did not look for this reckoning.
28. But they ignored and denied Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, and that which Our Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã brought) completely.
29. And all things We have recorded in a Book.
30. So taste the results of your actions. No increase shall We give you, except in torment.
31. Truly, for the Muttaqûn,[1] there will be a success; Paradise;
32. Gardens and vast vegetation,
33. And young - mature partners of equal age,
34. And a full cup of euphoria.
35. No Laghw (dirty, false, evil talk) shall they hear, nor lying;
36. A reward from your Lord, an ample calculated gift (according to the best of their good deeds)
37. From the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and whatsoever is in between them, the Most Gracious, with Who they cannot dare to speak to, on the Day of Resurrection except by His will.
38. The Day that Ar-Rûh-Jibrîl; and other angels will stand forth in disciplined rows, they will not speak except him whom the Most Gracious allows, and he will speak what is right.
39. That is, without doubt, the True Day. So, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with, or a way to, His Lord; by obeying Him in this worldly life!
40. Truly, We have warned you of a torment - the Day when man will see what the deeds which his hands have rewarded him, and the disbeliever will say: "Oh! Would that I were dust!"
[1] Muttaqûn: means pious believer of Monotheism who fear their Creator only and (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love their Creator much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained).
