Hello my friends! I'm glad to came to WINNIESPOETRY Hometown. Yes, right here in the internet heart of Memphis, Tennessee. I've got some stories for you about feuds and a fraud. So let's read. I might have a rhyme somewhere along the line.

The Memphis City Council may be having a small feud over what to call what used to be the name formerly known as the "Fairgrounds" In a group meeting on Friday, April 09, 2010 members were struggling over a new name to call the new park at the old theme park landing. Now that the new property will not longer serve as an amusement park but will need a new name to replace the old name. The City Council and a panel with major stakeholders met Friday to select a brand new name . Some from the group came up with Tiger Way, Tiger Drive, Tiger Gauntlet and Tiger Alley along with several other Tiger names. The Chairman of the group recommended that the name change be addressed immediately, however the group feuded a while and still did not reach a settlement on any name deciding to finally have the public suggest and settle to a name. They are seeking futher how the public should help decide a name by having an contest to name the park. The new park still under construction, offers where the Memphis University Tigers students and fans will load and unload buses and cars for the future games and events. Fans and users will pay at least a $25 fee to park when the area is completed and named.

Tevin Streeter took his feud with fuel for a fire. Police arrested Streeter for starting fires to his next door neighbor's property after a few brawling feuds. Witness said that he set fire, not once --but twice to his next door neighbor's house and automobiles. Police said that Streeter and the the neighbors had be aruging for months. No one in the neighborhood knows exactly what caused all the feuding, and didn't believe Mr. Streeter would go to that extreme temperment to burn down the house. Tevin Streeter was arrested and faces charges of aggravated arson. Streeter is also an ex-con whose mother lives next door to the now chared and burned up home. The burnt out neigbors have moved out of their home since the fires. The neighborhood is having a little peace and quiet for while.

Memphis is facing one of it's worst season for pollen spreads and sufferers according to an article written by Linda Moore [Commercial Appeal] The ariticle mentions that Oak trees produces 3,000 to 6,000 pollen particles per cubic meter, but it only takes 10 particles to trigger an allergic reaction. Blame it on the pollen if you've been sneezing, sniffing, runny noses and blows. If you've been seeing that green and gold film covering all over your cars you're feuding with the blows of pollen. Pollen causes many sufferers to have itching and watery eyes and noses and ears cratching may tend to be affected. Children also suffer from sinus colds and scratchy throats. When the winds are blowing usually more pollen is flowing. Experts suggest keeping windows closed, scarfs on head, and even wearting protective glasses may help the eyes!
That's a good reason to "Wear yo' Shades!"

International Paper manager, Carlo Petrillo is standing accused of obtaining reimbursements form the Memphis home office for "promotional aids" which were items he used for himself and his own family. The aids included $700 worth of baseball bats for his son's team. Petrillo is also accused with 5 other counts of fraud involving travel, use of the company's credit card, flights, vacations, and hotel stays. Sources stated he altered and photocopied receipts for phantom trips and personal time. Frauds of his biding were more than $150,000 worth of creative accounting from his home in Norristown, PA. As of this story, no court date has been set for his trial.
