LET US PRAY FOR OUR GIFTS AND TALENTS

[Tiny mustard seeds in gifted in hands that use faith can grow into talents that fills a jar of mustard which can "spread" over many slices of bread.]

Dearest Holy Father:

Let us humble together in prayer to pray for our gift and talents.
We are asking your blessings upon us.
We pray you to use us to spread our gifts to increase.
Increase our talents to edify you.

Many times we fail to use gifts and talents you have given us.
Many times we make excuses that we cannot use our blessed talents.
Develop in us courage then to use our gifts to bestow
Love, thanks and all the other beautiful presents you give us
we take for granted.

Make us strong so we can encourage and help someone in our daily living.
We know with you we have no need to fear anything.
We pray and give you thanks in everything.
Gifts and Talents given by you have reaping of many rewards.
This prayer is prayed and asked
In the name of your Son, Jesus.
AMEN

Precious thanks Brother Richard. I'm happy that I'm allowed to pray-- for there are so many who have talents and gifts and never develop into learning the gift of giving of themselves, .....they never use their talents.

Right, MIISRAEL.

It reminds me of the gospel Story from Matthew 25 about the servant who hid his talents. It was all taken from him.

The one who was rewarded was the one who used his talents and made them grow!!!

Exactly, I read of the verse before writing the prayer...Although I've read it many times..I'm reminded of the how oneself should try to develop useful things God gives us! One talent can spread to 10, but if we bury them then our talents will taken away and given to the one with 10. It's a great parable. In fact, I wrote about that today in a recent post [On the right] "Be not worthless...doing nothing. "

Beautiful... GOD blesses each of us a special talents.... The key to understanding one's talents and knowing requires wisom (my belief). And as stated by both you and Rich... There are people whom have these talents but they chose to not share them... That's selfish in my opinion....

MY GIFT is the gift of Gab.... I am a talker... I love to talk... if I can uplift a person when they're down, encourage, build up a lil self esteem, self worth.... Make a person laugh... Im doing it.... AND most importantly... It's pleasing to GOD... and I try to live my life in a fashion that which is pleasing to MY HIGHER POWER....

Miisrael... another great one.... So this week... I will be spreading my special gift of Gab to everyone I come in contact with this week... smile
