From a 1.9 High School grade point average to Cornell University:Three years ago, a guidance counselor told Kevin Sergeon he was not college material and suggested he consider vocational training. He had just graduated high school with a 1.9 grade point average.This week, Sergeon proved the counselor wrong, graduating with honors from College & being accepted accepted to Cornell University.
