There is a cause for a personal memorial for those who have given their lives in this present day war. There was a time when casulaties of war were announced in the national news from the beginning of the war. Now I'm finding it's less mentioned by the news media. These soliders are races from our people. Black soliders have and still are ones giving up their lives in combats and figting. They who are gone were young and they had to have the dignity within themselves to enlist and take the plights of war. Many of them served with dedication in the military because I sense they had a feeling presence that the reward befitting them was also aiding in America a country they love. A country they call home. These were Black Americans.
They were Black American soliders giving of themselves and showing a real dedication of risking their lives to saving others, and not just be called war heros but real soliders of war. Yet their deaths has brought and given them honor of heros and heroines. Many of these serving I'm sure had thoughts of returning home alive. They had thoughts of returning with arms of lifting up their babies high. They had thoughts that their lives could end as well, with a cause they fought bravely. They had thoughts they'd be remembered.
The war from the Bush term of presidency has made a 350 degree turn around since Obama has taken office. When it began as a way of bringing in the terrorist leader Bin-Laden, now it's more like a battle of terrorism groups and those who keep the country from adopting a republic form of government. Whatever the true root of this ; or any present day war-- you'll always find there will be soliders of color. Our Black Soliders.
In memory of them. Truly brave, Truly Heros and Heroines, Truly Black, and Truly given is this a personal salute.
May God Bless Families of The Soliders of War this Memorial Day.
