620,000 deaths in a war fought by whites to give blacks their freedom … yet, we celebrate OUR freedom. No acknowledgment to honor the lives of all the white soldiers who fought and gave their lives to give blacks their freedom in the deadliest war ever on American soil. How pathetic, inconsiderate, ungrateful can a race of people be? I commented on a post a few months ago that on this day, someone ought to go thank a white man when he sees one. But of course that won't happen, we would rather just celebrate how we overcame. There's a word for it: inactive. That can be applied to nearly everything we do. We wait on the lord to supply our needs. Inactive. We wait on the government to supply our needs. Inactive. We waited on others to fight for our freedom. Inactive. (And yes, I know a few blacks stepped up to fight, also. But, they did not initiate the war and for sure did not finish it.)

Clark I think that if Lincoln hadn't freed the slaves, the south would have trained their slave resource to kill unions soldiers. He knew the slave mentality was not to question why, but to do or die. What about the fact that Lincoln's family tree was searched because of his skill color. He knew what it was like to be treated differently.

Hello to All, When will you ghettobilly Negroes stop arguing about White American history and think about beginning your own history by first desiring to become a sovereign people or have complete independence from White America on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way since God is offering us this permanent solution? President Lincoln said a House divided against itself could not stand. Well, is his reference still true today? Black Americans of the most incarcerated people, and has always been on the bottom of this country, am I right. So, is this country still divided? This country will always be divided as long as Black Americans do not have a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to withstand the natural obstacles that nature hurls at every people to do for themselves, right. Black Americans are going to become a sovereign people even though White Americans will be hard-pressed; nevertheless, they will be happy for our sovereignty. So why do you all ghettobilly Negroes turned the corner, leave behind all this moot argument, and begin to think about becoming a sovereign people, okay. The Civil War cannot do anything for Black Americans. It is White America’s history. Everything in this country as it is now is White America’s history, am I right. What say you?

Clark, I thought the argument that led to the secession was that the south insisted on using slaves in their economy?

Per Richard Kigel Scholarship, Lincoln said that the Civil War was a payment to paganChristian god for slavery. with this pagan rational; one should be celebrating paganChristianity for the beginning and end of American African Slavery.......

Harry You said, "When will you ghettobilly Negroes stop arguing about White American history and think about beginning your own history. I think that anyone that doen't know their own past history, should at least know the history of the slavemasters who stole them away from that knowledge. Why search all over for a solution when it's right in front of your face.

Hello Helen, You said this, “I think that anyone that doen't know their own past history, should at least know the history of the slavemasters who stole them away from that knowledge.” Helen, the slave master did not steal any knowledge from Black Americans. The only history that is relevant to Black Americans is our slavery and present day subjugation. We have no other history. We are a people that were born into slavery for the purpose of free labor. We are a people that belonged to White American people since slavery to today. When we will come out on this is when we become a sovereign people or have complete independence from White America on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way. White America will be hard pressed; nevertheless, they will be happy for our sovereignty. It is just that we do not have sense enough at the moment to want out with sovereignty especially since God is offering it to us. We are the same as the children of Israel were. They had a little more sense than we presently have but not enough to have immediately wanted their Exodus. It took Moses some time to convince them that God was with them. Secondly, this is a situation that we cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. In other words, you have to do one or the other. Either you embrace White America’s history of our slavery or you turned a corner to desire to become a sovereign people. God is not with you embracing the history of White America. God is with us if we embrace the designer to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. You cannot do both. You must choose one. For instance, none of what Clark knows about the Civil War could lend a hand to Black Americans becoming a sovereign people, which is our only permanent solution. Therefore, his argument with the others BIA members will repeat itself in the next generation. Have I made any sense with you? Tell me what you think.

Hello Siebra, Why do you delete my comments on your blogs and at the same time you tell Helen to teach hard? You seem to be a person that can only have it one way and that is your way of ignorance. Without controversy, there could be no progress. What if you are wrong in the way you see things? Deleting my viewpoint since it is opposite to yours would that not perpetuate your ignorance if you were wrong. Of course, it would! The only way that progress is made is through controversy in an up right and honest way. In other words, each side has the obligation to present to the other side how they could be wrong and the other side must have the up right and honest desire to admit when they are wrong and comply with what is right. Black Americans as not reach this threshold of intelligence and civility yet, but we will. My task is hard. However, God anointed the right person, Prophet Harry. I want to see Black Americans a better people tomorrow than we are today. What say you?

Hello Siebra, You said this, “Sorry Harry but I don't understand the chicken scratch you just posted” Perhaps and most likely, you do not have the necessary level of intelligence to understand the simple things I say. It just means that my work is harder to bring you up to par. I would suggest that you begin to be honest with yourself and allow yourself to understand. Ghettobilly Negroes as you are the same as the ghettobilly Hebrews that died in the desert because they were extremely ignorant to make the transition to becoming intelligent Jewish people to begin a new life in their Promised Land. So, that is why you do not understand. Tell me what you think.

Harry I'm not trying to change the subject of this blog, but you know by the intelligence of the white race or you figure it out that you can put more children in a slave ship then you can grown ups. You can teach a child your programs faster and easier than you can someone who is set in his ways. So what knowledge does a child bring over to remember? P.S. HAPPY FATHERS DAY HARRY

Hello Helen, Firstly, thank you for the happy Father’s Day wishes. Okay, you said this, “You can teach a child your programs faster and easier than you can someone who is set in his ways. So what knowledge does a child bring over to remember” What the child will bring over is a clean mind with a burning desire of getting ahead. A clean mind to have pride that everything such as religion, religious book, our deliverance from White America, our culture, the way we are going to address etc. no other people especially African people could say Black Americans got it from them. Do you understand what I am saying Helen? Well, that is what Black American children would bring over. Those of us who are set in our ways will die out the same as the children of Israel died out in the desert. We will have a new life and a new way of thinking as we inherit our rightfully divine portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders our immediate ancestors left us from there labor and our sovereignty is in tact. Everything that I say is going to happen. All that is required of you all is your will to become a sovereign people. God through me would take care of the rest. Likewise, all that was required of the children of Israel was their will to leave Egypt and God through Moses to care of the rest, am I right. As I said before Christianity was not a practice by Black Americans in our Promised Land since Black America’s religion is, “LIFE”.

You know, I was going to chill on this 'cause I know a lot of blacks will try their damnest to defend their position as proactive instead of inactive. But let me offer this: 100 years from now, the debate will rage about the Iraq war. Was it for oil?: Was it for revenge (911)? Was it to capture Bin Laden? Was it Bush W. finishing the job Bush H.W. started against Suddham Husein?. Truth is in there somewhere … exactly where, we may not know. So consider the civil war: A group of white abolitionists wanted to abolish slavery; the south had already seceded and wanted to expand slavery; the south elected Thomas Jefferson as their president; President Lincoln wanted to keep the union together; the war began WITH slaves and ended WITHOUT slaves. You figure out the exact truth. The debate continues. Either way, BLACKS DID NOT RISE AND FIGHT FOR THEIR FREEDOM. Just didn't happen. Celebrate that? Never. The Native Americans chose to DIE before they would allow themselves to be taken into slavery. THAT'S pride worth respecting. And like many of you — I'm 1/8 Native American (Cherokee). The Spaniards, Mexicans, French, etc. — all FOUGHT for their independence. To further illustrate how inactive we were in this "civil" war — we didn't even know we/they won! A white man had to tell these inactive subordinates they were free TWO YEARS AFTER THEY HAD BEEN SET FREE! You all can celebrate a lack of effort … I can't and won't allow my offspring to, either. "Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity", Colin Powell.

Had the Jeffersons mixed up, my bad. Thanks for the clarification. Still, I stand by the "basis" of this post: that while others celebrate "victory" — we celebrate what? Emancipation? Being set free? In the paraphrased words of Malcolm X: "Even a dog can be set free. We need to stand up and fight!" And while I completely understand there were those who did, but there's no way anyone can believe that we were in great numbers. Nat Turner, Sojouner Truth and the others you mentioned earlier could only do so much as individuals. Didn't say we were all lazy and inactive. Again, I repeat the offering by Mr. Powell: "Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity."

This is one of the most fascinating and informative comnversations I have seen so far. Some brilliant insights. Some thought provoking challenges. The sum tolal of the conversation has me lokking at settled historical issues from entirely new perspectives. So I think you all for the privilege of just listening in. I don't think there is anything new I can add. You folks did an awesome job of covering just about all conceivable bases. I would like to give Robert a shout out for bringing my two cents into it. Thanks, man!!! But I really would like to thank you all for such a rich, vibrant, intelligent real conversation. Love it!!!!

Clark, as always, I appreciate the perspectives you take. Oh, and by the way, the quote from Malcolm was "paraphrased". He actually said, "even a dog can 'sit' … " after the MLK-led sit-in. I just used "set free" to make it relevant to this topic. Who is Bro. Gaddy? Does he post on BIA or is he a writer or someone I should know? Rich, I left you a personal message the other day. Received your book Saturday and will offer my feedback via e-mail when completed for your web site. Thanks for sending it so quickly.

Hello to All, Now after you ghettobilly Negroes have discussed and argued over White America’s history of Black Americans what do you ghettobilly Negroes have in mind for the future. I can tell you right now you ghettobilly Negroes have nothing in mind since Negroes have reactionary minds, am I right. Negroes do not have pro-active minds. Ghettobilly Negroes are not visionary people, am I right. So, again, after you ghettobilly Negroes have in mind for your future after you finish discussing White America’s history of Black Americans. Do not you ghettobilly Negroes would like to have something of your own, perhaps a country? Would you Negroes like to have your hands on the helm of the own destiny? What is mentally wrong with you ghettobilly Negroes? What say any of you?

Thanks for this post Craig...it is sort of like a Japanese -American when asked which side did he want to win during WWII...his answer was, "When your mother and father fight which one of your parents do you hope kill the other"?... and, why "I" always respect there are always two sides to every story. NOT ONE BLACK PERSON KNEW THE WAR HAD ENDED...THE SAME WAY THAT SOME BLACKS ( today) KNOW NOTHING ABOUT NAT TURNER...OF ANY OTHE BLACK SLAVES WHO FOUGHT FOR THEIR FREEDOMS AND CERTAINLY NOT ABOUT THE 60S OR THE TIME IN BETWEEN OUR ARRIVAL ON THE (both) AMERICAN(S) SHORES,,, HELL EVEN THOSE FAMOUS BLACK INDIAN CHIEFS ( that the white soldiers would never fight against) TAUGHT IN the NATIVE-AMERICAN ETHNIC CLASSES ALL OVER AMERICA...LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL (SMILE) I WONDER WHY?????????????????????????? Fact...the "abolitionist" promoting publically no slaverey in America were Quakers. Quakers are as against salvery as they are against war, as in man should not take the life of another for any reason. And, I don't believe Quakers want to be called Christians no more then Catholics or Jews or Buddhist do or even you Craig. lol Because, parents tend to be role models to their children which is actually the future then if the parents are talking about the Iraq war today this will be carryed on into tomorrow or the future...another FACT ?!? ...not to take up all of the blog's space, but the Nat Turners had followers...they had peoples believing in their cause and the special way they had of causing sel-exteem in others who chose to follow their leads... which "I" doubt was putting others down to be able to lift themselves up...and, I am sure at some times they put peoples down to get them to lift themselvs up in anger after taking a good look at their own selves...and almost impossiable job to do... Thes peoples had the ability to bring hope in the form of looking towards a better day and conditions for your children than you have...those who liked the conditions they were in and as Tudman said, "I could have been able to bring more to freedom if I had been able to convince them they were slaves"... and, why I am so in love with the writtings of those like Rich, Mozell, MIISRAEL, Siebra and why "I" love coming to this site...I even love your blogs Craig as they offer great teaching moments, especially from 'the other side"/ point of view .(smile)

Craig, as I believe what you stated about the Native-Americans died before going into slavery you are not talking about the Native-American version of their history in this land we now call America... and, I say this because in the Native-American history version they had a president and at the same time as we had Lincoln who they call their president who helped them fight for deliverance from slavery. Much like your version of our BIA history is coming from the European-centered version. The version that is more for emotional effect then is about facts. lol (smile)
