"FOR AND FOR IS ATE" (202 hits)

Have you ever debated topics with someone who tends to drift back to many things he/she should really "forgive and forget." It's understandable that they are still holding on to bones in a bag. They are carrying around things which should be in a forgotten past. However, this person continues to carry them for whatever their reasons-- if only to make themselves feel remorseful, angry, upset and miserable. Most of their memories are usually a total recall of an unpleasant event. They linger into those memories and hold on clinching them when they should let go. Sometimes we also have to forgive and forget things we did ourselves.

The saying of "FORGIVE AND FORGET" is one they should be finding within themselves. It may be difficult for them, but it's not impossible to let it go. Let it go! Holding on can continue to haunt your own spirit of elevation to other things life has awaiting for you. I know this happens to everyone, a past situation that you continue to habor in you are "long left behind." If you continue to live it all too often, just maybe you haven't really faced forgiveness and surely you haven't forgotten. Move on...and leave it behind never remembering it again.

"For and For is Ate"...
When something is "ate" then;.. it is no more.
It's all gone......

Doc..you know me better than that. I'm not referring to any general person. Just the ideal of forgiveness then moving on. If it happens to appear differently I call that fate. ..."Busy Bee"..oooooOO

I've learned its not in a person's best interest to ruminate...that causes most people to die young. I want to live a long life...

@IR-- I can understand your cause and effect..and I have a certain standard for that too....I believe in forgiveness because this is a release for holding on to the old things so that new things can be opened up. I think of cause and effect in the area of forgiveness as there is a cause to forgive and the effect will render a occurance that will allow the freedom of love. So somewhat in a complex way I have reason to believe there somewhere is a similarity. I always respect your ideas Irma never looking to bash what you believe. I'm one who loves simplicity. It's why I can have an open mind to understanding your views and understanding you better. Heck...I love my Irma Girl!..

@Doc...Many times it's difficult to forget. That's when you're carrying around that "bag of bones." Always remembering because you haven't let go. I'm not speaking of you in tense of self. It's general...ya know... Anyway, love covers a multitude of sins..and forgiveness is an act of love. Show me some love BEE!

Siebra....Repercussions can weigh you down..and so can holding on to memories that are causing you misery in your life. God wants us to remember he is good...always...ALL THE TIME. Why can't we learn to remember what is good and live. Love that Butterfly too!

MIISRAEL...as you already know "I" am going to be the outlier. lol...

I don't actually accept the idea of "forgive and forget"...and, "I" say this because of my blieef in Cause and Effect or what one does will always come back to them or everything happens for a reason...

and, when "I" do this then "I" see this forgive and forget as a perfect excuse to not change our ownselves. (smile)

I NEVER MAKE ANY THING SIMPLE DO i, BUT I OFTEN BELIEVE SIMPLE IS THE HARDEST TO UNDERSATND. (S-M-I-L-E)
