The teachings of Islam in America has been the most revolutionary teachings since the coming of Marcus Garvey. The 21st Century presents new challenges to the NOI requiring technical manuevering for effectiveness. Saviors Day in February, marches in October and eating bean pie is not enough. Time to put a period at the end of the sentence. The name "Nation of Islam" should not just infer a nation but be working toward a Nation. Similar to Christian Preachers...the Nation of Islam has succumb to a routine of preaching rhetoric followed by smoke and mirrors.
Nation of Islam leadership needs an update. Much like the United States of America after 8 years requires a new president to harness new ideas to continue the progress of the American nation. So is the case of the Nation of Islam, which at present is spinning its wheels getting nowhere...merely changing colors, changing styles, changing flavors but the same 80 year routine. The Nation of ISlam needs the divine venue of Allah(God) at this time...at this day in history.
