Michael Jackson a Baby Boomer: They're dying out. (1625 hits)

I know it's been quite some time since I've posted here. I tell ya it's been a bad year well most of you already know that. But what you don't know is it's just the beginning for many of you to experience high degrees of poverty, restlessness and anxiety. A lot of people clash with my personal approach to blogs because I'm a little self absorbed and I admit I have an ego trip. But I'm a born revolutionary, born with swag and if you just take the time to really listen you may have your world over turned. Seeing how African Americans are on the bottom of the world that may not be a bad thing. Lol.

First let me get the title clear for most of you. Michael Jackson was born in the 1950' or rather he was born in 1958. The Baby Boomer generation starts in 1940 and ends in 1960. So all those born within that time frame are apart of a generational thinking of the 40's and 50's. This generation is slowly dying out because it was so many of them. They are called the Baby Boomers because their generation had a huge explosion of births not only here in the U.S but around the world. They came along when the world was at war and as you know the human DNA responds to crisis by increasing the birth rate so that the human species can survive great times of mass deaths. It's all scientific but the generational thinking falls into the realm of social science where each generation is defined by the problems they faced and events that happened during their early childhood and adolescence. And Yes M.J was a Baby Boomer and most of his music collection is a product of his time. Do you Remember the Time? Lol.

I'm finding it harder to listen now to M.J or anybody who made songs within that time because they just were such sad songs and the lyrics expressed great uncertainity like when Marvin Gaye another Baby Boomer sung, "What's Going On? Rnb or what is known as Rhythm and Blues had it's birth during this time period of the Baby Boomers. The Blues says it all if you understand that the Blues is the depressing sonic sound of the flat scale of the musical spectrum. I know lot of you are uneducated musicals whom probably learned in church and even though you play very well that's due to exposure at an early age not musical education. And you probably disagree with me on the grounds that alot of songs lyrics were upbeat and happy but the sonic dimension is what I'm referring to and the emotional vibration energy it sets off is where the Blues gets it's name. The Rhythm although upbeat and dance oriented doesn't change the fact that the underlining sonic play was towards a depressed state. This sadness of the slaves that gripped every generation of African American music and culture didn't really become worldwide as it didn't until Michael Jackson the greatest entertainer the world has seen brought it forth. I know M.J was called the King of Pop but calling RnB Pop is just a white corporate attempt to make M.J acceptable to the masses of Whites whom fell in love with the RnB King.

I'm not obsessed with redefining history but rather making clear that perceptions get distorted over time and we have to from time to time clear the smoke per see in order to see clearly what was and what isn't. This Baby Boomer generation that prides itself with Civil Rights legistration and other social freedoms not existent during their times like Gay Rights, Jews Rights and Minority and Women Rights must be seen in proper perspective. I remember an European Historian came to the same conclusion when he said the Baby Boomers where simply too much for the establishment to handle because it was so many of them not because they were more powerful than any other generation. Well this false conclusion or ego trip that Baby Boomers are on has caused them to remain at the hub of power in American society and in the Black Community. This is where people say they prefer old school as if there's something fundamentally flawed with new school thinking and our music. Such as the disdain for Hip Hop although a Baby Boomer like Bob Johnson and his wife courted the Youth to help them create B.E.T only to sell them out and turned it over to Whites.

This B.E.T Bob Johnson story is what's wrong with Baby Boomer thinking. This is the generation in which anything major or big was ran and controlled by Whites. Not only do Black Baby Boomers have this outdating thinking but so do a great deal of Baby Boomer Whites. Too many of us whom would have like to see a Black President before Obama back when Jesse must understand it wasn't time because there's was too many Baby Boomers controlling the society back then both Black and White. Many people don't see opposition to change as being generational but our African Ancestors did when they would remove from power all their old Kings in a ritual of killing their old kings via sacrifice. I'm not suggesting anybody go out and kill old people that's was an extreme example to show that our Ancestors understood that generational thinking influences progress. Cultures of them had other means of promoting the advancement of Youth into leadership roles and replacing old modes of thinking that had ties to the previous generation.

I offer alot of information here for many of you to ponder upon and digest but do so slowly. I'm not suggesting that you will come to my stage of enlightment over night. I will be 40 years old next month and time is ticking away for me as well but I would like to see my world set in balance while I still have energy to commit myself to a project. I say my world in that we each live in a world of our own choosing. The things that surrounds us and the circumstances we experience are all products of our vibrational output. I know it's deep and many of you aren't ready for the explaination of this high spiritual law but trust me it exists. And as far as the Baby Boomers they will do good to know when to step aside and allow progress to spur from younger seeds. As I said before I have an ego trip but at least I'm willing to admit it and what I hate about Baby Boomers is that they won't. Lol. But Father or Mother of Time has a way of making us step aside whether we want to or not.

Irma Robinson so many of you make foolish attempts to counter blogs you don't agree with. When you should just post your own blog and make that your counter instead you come into my blog with your foolish oppression of new ideas.

I have no sympathy for what I'm doing. None. I'm sure I speak for many young people that Baby Boomers both Black and White are out of touch. Different times require different measures. Civil Rights, marching and protesting had it's time.

Now it's time for secret societies, armed struggle and true revolution for our human rights. We must control our present reality or our future will be out of control.

Peace.

Who cares about the mission statement of this site. I've never read it. I didn't expect anyone to challenge me on the mission statement seeing that I'm talking about Blacks In America. Lol. But i don't live here as some you do and think you own the place because of it.

Thank you so much John and "I" am so greatful your bringing up the Black civil rights movement...and how right you are about those times are long gone...it is just too bad for some of us that we lived long enough to see from this generation one of the most inspiring speeches of Dr. King IN THE OLD DAYS will now in the NEW DAYS will according to the 2010 movement be done CORRECTLY...

they must go on 8-8-10 so they can begin in 2010 what Dr. King really meant in his " I HAD A DREAM" speech the first place...My only regret is that this is going to be done as their love of America's duty because this country has sunk so low it has accepted someone who is not White in the Whitehouse.

2010 may prove to not be having those humble young (now too old) people believing they were there on that day believing that getting rid of those centry's old 'white Only, black only signs and traditions and on top of this having faith that Blacks and Whites could be in this place in PEACE and UNITY...You will I believe be getting your wish about it is time for the modern generation to take over...so be happy starting on 7-17-10 as this is "I" do believe is going to be the start of the modern day PEACE that we so failed at...

May "I" be the first to wish you and your generation the best...(smile)
