Ladies, Take A Man With You Please? (1262 hits)

As most of you know, I'm a recent widow. Starting over in some areas of my new life. One of those areas is Auto Repair. Now mind you, I'm no dummy when it comes to Auto Repair. My late husband was a trained Automotive Mechanic. And prior to our thirty-five years of marriage, my brothers we Automotive Mechanics. Prior to our marriage I knew to take a man with me. Ladies, he does not need to have knowledge about Automobiles. He doesn't even need to speak, just stand and do the look.
The treatment you will receive is amazing.
I was shocked after thirty-five years, twenty-ten, this was still going on. I recently went to return an Item to the local Auto Parts store. Okay, brake pads. Never removed from the box and returned an hour later because the pads I had were in great shape and the Mechanic ( a neighbor) ask me to return them and get my money back.
With my receipt I returned to the store and the manager looks at the pads and ask are you sure these are the new ones? The look a little rusty. Not worn, mind you. I said, I was just here an hour ago, check your clerks.
Needless to say he refunded my money, I did not call PPL or anything. However, I did let him know that first impression is a lasting one and I would not be returning for future business and I would tell my friends.
When I shared this with my male friends, the advice was,"ladies take a man with you".
May God Bless All You Do,
Esther
