How does a story like that get so far in Wingnutville when exculpitory evidence is out there?

This is why I like Rachel Maddow, she does her research.
Last week or the week before last week she was also talking about this during the Shirley Sherrod "scandal".
I actually like that the republicans are fighting on this fear factor in regards to immigration, because now president obama has to focus on this issue and work on this reform. My only problem is, will he do make a strong decision on what needs to be done and have more of an iron hand, or will he go the route of being caught in republican criticism and trying the please the party of "NO"...

Yeah Rush, Beck and Hannity are very rich from scaring Whites. But shaping public opinion is there job not reporting the News. And is it there faults totally when we live in a free society why Whites will not think for themselves. And the same applies to Blacks who are slaves to the Democratic Party and white social Liberals like Rachel Maddows. The day the Nevada court convicted O.J Simpson Rachael cheered, "We Got Him". Who is we? And we all know O.J was railroaded for being found innocent of killing Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. You have to watch these white Liberals they aren't our friends. They are in competition with their White Right Wing brothers and sister and were just the little natives they can use to help their side win. I refuse to be anybody's pawn no matter how good intentional they seem.

Rachel is extraordinarily thorough, utterly reasonable and impeccable on the facts. I love how she calls out hypocrisy and ignorance with a smile!
I think everybody in the country agrees we have a problem. I don't think anything will happen on it until the nextg Congress in January. Elections do matter. If the Republicans are in control, watch out!!! If the Dems have such a thin majority that it may be ineffectual, it may be another recipe for gridlock.
We'll see.

Hello,
There is a group of people in America whose job it is to leak certain information to the media and on the web to do exactly what happened with the "news" that the President is a muslin. Now they are creating stories about his birth certificate etc. This garbage is a deliberate attempt to keep the public off balance and disturbed. I don't know whether they believe the junk or not but it does kick up dust.
I believe that all Americans , especially Black Americans, should research the history of both political parties. Neither one is our friend. I believe the gimmie programs are designed to stiffle initiative and motivation. Any program that dangles a carrot big enough to keep you from doing for yourself, is not your friend. Where is the pride in accomplishment? What happened to it?
Palin's approval rate is based on whom? She is one of those whose job it is to occupy focus. Any SMART American will not take her serious. Just take a look at who is supporting her. What socio-economic class are they in? Her job in the previous election was to garner the female votes that were going to Hillary. None of the political machinery took her seriously.
We have to be careful which band wagon we hook a ride on. My policy is to look at what they say just the opposite of the way they said it. There you will probably find the truth.

That is exactly right. President Obama calls them distractions. When you don't have reasonable, well-thought out points to offer, kick up some dust. Confuse the issue. Make people doubt what is clearly the truth.
Most people won't buy it. But in close elections where the country is pretty close to evenly split, it just might catch enough votes to send them back to power. That, I think, is what they are hoping for.

No. that does not happen in my church. (casting out devils) In fact, I don't know of a church in my community that does that. I have only seen such on television.
Rich et al,
In my opinion, this whole racial issue is just that, a distraction. If White American REALLY did not like brown, they would not risk cancer to be brown. If they did not like butt, they would stay flat and not have injections, buy padded underwear, or Jeans to give them butt. If full lips were a problem, they would not get injections and if the "one drop" was a problem, they would not have dark hair and eyes and would not become envolved with people of color ANYWHERE. Oh, I forgot about the curls.
Now when I say "White People" I am referring to those people who project the mind set and stereotype of what "white" means in America. White Supremacy. I am not talking about those so call Caucasians, like you Rich, who set themselves apart from the Limbaughs of the world. I had to explain this to some of my family members.
In my mind, being white in America, is to have all of the negative characteristics created and rejected in America, established by those first who came here and robbed the native people and who still perpetuate the racist jargon.

Hey Irma,
My mother said what you said aaabout religion,95 years ago. She would be 100 if she were alive. I believe that the Power Greater Than Man, what ever his/her/its name is gave us a brain to use in our own best interest.
The key word is USE. It was not meant for us to sit like a bump on a log and wait for life to happen. My statement is not made to criticize. I give every human being the same rights I take for myself. But it seems to me that some of us are still waiting. Religion is a man-made organization; where the is spiritual connection. That is how I AM gives grace. (help)
Teaching the truth is the key to knowledge. Investigation is paramount. One of the reason the dropout rate is high is education today tries to pigonhole every one into one catagory. If they don't fit, then they are disregarded. Somebody said, "distroy a mans history, you destroy the man." (poor Harry)
With today's technology, what they learn has to be relevent and success needs to be believeable. This statement I just made, is from experience. I MADE IT WORK. I CHANGED MINDS IN TWO YEAES FOR THE FIRST GROUP. That is the reason that I said sometimes back, " we need to get our kids back and teach them ourselves." We can use some of the curriculum in existance with a little modification to get the job done. After all, we want them to be able to live in this society.
Parents do need to take an active part in what they learn. During those 2 years, some parents wanted to know when I was going to stop talking about Black History and teach about American History. Some of it was about Blacks in America. But, they needed to have the gaps filled in up to 1619. I would love to see a history book with all of the history, not what some "people" consider "what made America Great." The Truth would do that all by itself.

You know what I find so funnyis that Sarah Palin's minister of her church was emported from Africa to come an cast withces out of her body right there in church and to keep her home town safe from witchers and what were we talking about as the anti-christ in teh black community rev J. W. for teaching African-centered BIA...gofigure...
becasue Palin is White and her pastor is African I guess we can't use racism but where do we put this withc thing in the christian church as valid but BIA is evil????

@John, if you can say that you wish all of the black elders would just die and you are black...what is the problem in what Rachael says about O.J. after all she did not wish him dead and she is white...now did rachael serve on the jury or bribe the jury, ect. (smile)
but, then as she is of your generation this must mean that you mean those you disagree with must just go sit down some place and shut up and not just those of the generations of the 60 and 70s...
