Post 1863 America The Beautiful (273 hits)

Friends,

This collection of poems is reflecting a world as seen through the eyes of a person who has questioned the accepted definition of both American Africans and Native American men and women. It explores how they relate to each other and how they both strive to fulfill the broken dreams and search for their identity.

Its themes evolve around the contradictions that American Africans and Native People face as they trudge through a world that denies them equal access. The book includes images that tell who these Americans are and What the rest of America refuses to recognize. It also explores the unfulfilled dreams of women who know that they must survive.

Crafted with creative rhythm and rhyme, Post 1863 America The Beautiful shares who these Americans really are and how they react when faced with adversity. This is a poetic Toast to the human condition of these Americans as they try to find their place in a world of constant rejection and turmoil.

Take a trip into the mind of a people who refuses to give up, who refuses to acknowledge those who dig ditches and sent false prophet to lead them astray.

This book is distributedthrouh Brnes and Nobles, Amazone .com, Borders and othe book outlets. Other information can be found on the web Post 1863 America The Beautiful.

Hello Ms. Thomasina and everyone else,

Is this book, post-1863 America the Beautiful encouraging Black Americans to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to worship God, pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way?

What say you?
