Many African Americans are unfamiliar with the terms of “ideological subversion" or “psychological warfare”, however through the U.S. national media outlets and educational systems, no race has been more of an ongoing victim of these systems then they have.
Today it is not uncommon to hear many African Americans express themselves within a self contemptuous manner regarding their own race. Such as, for example, the saying that Blacks don’t read, or that if you wish to hide something from a Black person just merely hide it within a book. Incredibly these statements are often avowed by many African Americans yet they are untrue. In fact Black readership in the U.S. has never before been higher than it is now. For never more than now have there existed more African American owned book stores; publishing companies; or published Black authors. Furthermore, major Black owned publishing companies such as the Johnson publishing company has continued to sustain its position on the Forbes Fortune five hundred lists. It has done so for decades almost exclusively upon the backs of millions of Black readers—and even now despite being within a national recession. African American readership is so significant that the two major retail book store giants Borders and Barnes and Nobel have dedicated, within their hundreds of stores, entire sections to their Black customers. Moreover, these companies both attributes a high portion of their annually earnings to the African American market.
Clearly Black people do read and often. But what then explains these degrading inaccurate self-perceptions now commonly held among so many African Americans? Furthermore, some are so convince of these the negative self perceptions that you cannot change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information to the contrary. These deeply entrenched self-hating sentiments now commonly held by so many African Americans are not some strange enormous coincident. It is in fact the deliberate outcomes of a demoralizing ideological subversion program.
Black people are seeing themselves through lens that have been deliberately assigned to them by white mass media manipulation experts. It is a massive covert manipulation program designed to ensure the continuance of white dominance and control---implemented by those who clearly understand the power of ideas, specifically of evil ideas or ideologies.
It manipulates African Americans by inundating them with demoralizing misinformation implying their [black] inferiority and white superiority. Any group once having the same idea bombarded into their head by sources they trust, will come to accept these ideas even when presented with proof to the contrary. This manipulation program works by affecting the mind through deception. It is neither magical nor mystical, but a process that actually involves four basic stages. According to Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov, (born 1939, Soviet Union – 1997), a defected former KGB propagandist agent trained in these subversion techniques, there are 4 basic steps to socially engineering entire generations into thinking and behaving the way those in power want them to. He lays out the four steps used to transform the thinking and behavior of an entire population.
These steps are as followed:
1. Demoralize
2. Destabilization
3. Crisis
4. Normalization
The first stage is to “demoralize” the group. The U.S. media’s racially devaluing depictions and distorted portrayal of Black America that amplifies the negative to the point that it distorts reality more than meets this demoralization process. Through its blatant propagandizing TV documentaries and fake news reports it frame the myth of Whites’ racial, moral, and ethical superiority over its Black population. It also depicts the endemic problems of Black America as rooted primarily with Blacks themselves, instead of emanating from white racism. This racist and demoralizing propaganda is disseminated everywhere unrelentingly. It is deliberately spread through news releases in magazine articles, radio, television, press releases, documentaries, and false census reports. This daily assault on the minds of African Americans demoralizes and breaks down their sense of racial unity and allegiance, mold the character of self-hatred, self-doubt, self-loath, and distrust among their race. Yuri Bezmenov called this type of applied propaganda scheme “ideological subversion,” a “legitimate, overt and open process” designed to distort reality and brainwash people’s mind. In other words, racist white ideology devaluing Blackness is being pumped into the minds of at least three generation of Black people without being challenged or counterbalanced by self loving Black patriotism. According to Yuri Bezmenov, this process takes from 15 to 20 years to fully demoralize a targeted population. Because this is the minimum number of years required to indoctrinate one generation of people exposed to the self-hating ideology.
The main efforts of this psychological warfare against African Americans is to change their perception of reality to such an extent that despite the abundance of information no one is able to come to a sensible conclusion in the interest of defending themselves, their families and their communities. To the detriment of many African Americans, this applied demoralization process has been extremely effective. It has successfully conditioned many African Americans to not only accept white dominance over their lives, but in some cases to prefer it.
This demoralization process is not distant and impersonal; it reaches into the homes of every African American, working its will during nearly every waking hour. All African Americans have experienced the burden of this demoralizing process, some more severely than others have. It is experienced every time a Black person read a newspaper, watches the evening news, and listens to derogatory radio broadcast about them. Most fail to realize that they are being mass manipulated and instead falls victims to the misinformation about themselves. [Blacks own negative personal interactions within their group merely then reinforce it within their minds that the propaganda is true] This demoralizing program is the power that shapes and molds the mind and perceptions of virtually every Black citizen, young or old, rich or poor, simple or sophisticated, unknown or famous.
The demoralization process of African Americans has been over fulfilled. It has been such a success that now much of the demoralizing is being done by African Americans to themselves. Many African Americans literally develop a self contemptuous “anti Black” frame of thought that collectively attributes to Black disunity at a time when the need unity; it distracts them from solving real problems; increases self loathing at a time when the need to come together to face the complicity in their condition. It prevents the African-American community from forging the alliances within it needed to bring about real change.
Bezmenov also points out that this brainwashing works to such an extent that people refuse to accept fact, logic or reason even when it is presented to them. This is quite obvious among African Americans. This social engineering process is so complete that it becomes very difficult to get through to these manipulated Black victims. They are fully indoctrinated. These blacks are now programmed to think and react in a certain pattern. You cannot change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information contrary to their programming. One result of this psychosocial programming can be seen within black intellectuals that now occupy the same thoughts, perceptions and positions regarding their own race as that of a white racist.
This demoralization process of Black people is so complete that it is almost irreversible. Even if you prove that this is being done to them, it is still difficult to change their basic perception and the logic of behavior. In other words this process of demoralization is complete and very difficult to remove. Exposure to true information does not matter anymore. Black victims of this demoralization are unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him, even if I shower them with true information, with authentic proof, with documents and pictures they will refuse to believe that they are being manipulated .That's the tragedy of the situation of demoralization.
Some manipulation experts believe that in order to reverse this process of demoralization it will take another 15 or 20 years to educate a new generation of racially self loving minded and common sense Black people who would be acting in favor and in the interests of their race .
The next stage is destabilization. According to Yuri Bezmenov, it only takes 2 to 5 years to fully destabilize a targeted population using this system. The other stages Crisis, and Normalization. In order for those who have been misled to begin to see “correctly”, they must have a clear, analytical understanding of the origin, strategies, mechanics, purpose and methods of the device that has blinded them in the first place.
