The make up of the Black American family is similar in one aspect to that found in the American disposition. There are the liberal known as the Democrats and the conservative known as the Republicans. You have those left of the democrats or extremists and those to the right of the republicans also considered extremists.
Similarly, if you consider the black American family there are the liberal minded who are have tolerant views and those conservative blacks that are more opinionated and strict. Recognizing this composition of the black family, it becomes an art and a challenge for persons on either side of the spectrum to constructively engage with one another.
Black brothers and sisters that are Christian are considered on the Liberal side of the line, where black brothers and sisters that are Muslim are considered on the more conservative side of the line. It is important that each personality respects the other side much like it is done in the American legislation.
