The following conversation between a believer and God is not meant to represent a specific theology or theological truth. It represents one believer's struggle and the response that believer represents as God's truth for that believer and that believer alone.
Hello Lord. I love you.
I love you back my son.
You or something or someone has been pounding me with the thought of "a million souls" for several days. Is this thought from you or am I generating this thought in my own mind.
It is both. You can choose to go your way or my way in life. Every minute you are making choices to do my will or your will. When you hear "a million souls" in your mind, do not think that it is anything other than a reminder of what is supposed to be the number you feed. It is just a reminder to you. It is not a number to be measured, for one soul is just as precious to me as a million souls. I want all souls with me for all eternity. The more you feed them the more likely they are to decide to accept Christ. This is a hard truth to accept. It is hard to accept that feeding the flock is a help in getting them to make choices for me and my kingdom. It seems easier to you to just give a few Bible verses and then get them to make a decision. However, the way of pain, the hard way, the suffering way, the way of my Cross requires that people be given spiritual food to digest. Starving souls cannot think about me. You job is to feed their souls so they are satisfied enough to be able to think about spiritual things and then they will think about me. A drug pusher working the streets does not think much about me because his soul is vacant due to his immersion into sin and darkness. When you feed him with my wisdom, truth, love, and compassion, then a healing begins to take place.
