FATHER TAKES ON BULLIES ,,,Sanford girl hospitalized after alleged bullying on school bus (464 hits)

James Willie Jones threatened to kill students tormenting his daughter who suffers from cerebral palsy.
A Sanford father allegedly threatened to kill students on a school bus and the driver after he accused the children of bullying his daughter — who suffers from cerebral palsy — and throwing a c*ndom on her head.

James Willie Jones told the Orlando Sentinel his 13-year-old daughter has been hospitalized because of the stress caused by the alleged attack.

Jones would not comment on the case, but said his attorney Natalie Jackson would hold a press conference Monday.

Seminole County sheriff's deputies on Thursday arrested Jones on charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing a school function stemming from the incident.
Jones, 42, bailed out of the Seminole County Jail later that day after paying a $2,000 bond. A judge ordered that he cannot contact the bus driver and must stay 100 from all Seminole County school buses.

Deputies said that on Sept. 3, he boarded the school bus at W. Airport Boulevard and Bungalow Avenue because several boys on the bus were allegedly bullying his daughter.

"He believed in his mind, he had to take action against the children on the school bus before they hurt his little girl," according to the arrest report.

Jones told deputies the boys had placed an open c*ndom on his daughter's head, smacked her on the back of the head, twisted her ear and shouted rude comments at her, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office report shows.

Video surveillance taken inside the school bus shows Jones' daughter pointing at the students accused of harassing her. Jones walks up the aisle to the student's seat, points at him and threatens to kill him and others who bully his daughter.

Some of the children on the school bus watch quietly as Jones yells profanities and gestures wildly, while others giggle at the man's reactions.

Jones is then seen walking toward the bus driver and threatening to kill him as well before he steps off the bus.

He told deputies he has complained to school administrators in the past, but nothing had been done about the alleged attacks on his daughter.

Now his daughter is afraid to ride the bus to school, Jones said.

I think that it's a shame that a child has to be harrassed and teased by her own peers. The father may have gone to the extreme, but he felt that he had to do something. I can remember an incident as a young child, where I can't remember exactly what reason it all started, but an older teenage boy said that he was going to put me on his blacklist and he'd rape me if he caught me out at night. I immediatley went and told my mother, who confronted the boy about what he had said. She told him that she didn't approve of the way he spoke to me, she never made no threats to him. I kept my distance and avoided any contact with this person because he was considered to be a tough guy. Just like the bible says you will look for your enemy and they shall no longer be there, he disappeared, I found out that he had been placed in the mental hospital.

I'll bet that got their attention. The mistake he made was to GO to the perps with witnesses. What my dad would have done was met the turkey somewhere with no witnesses and beat the crap out of him. My Mother would have stuck her 380 down his throat and depending on what he did would determine whether she pulled the trigger.
No, she never shot anyone but most kids and people thought she might. My father was a man of few words and most boys during my youth were afraid of him. I really didn't know how afraid for fifty years. My father was very gentle.

Clark... exactly... but I had to deal with my brothers who were the bullies.... The told me I was gonna have to fight as a woman... But, as adults, we have to deal with Adults... not the kids...

Thanks David. If I had been in the car with you, I would have been scared to death. I will be the first to say a man 's got to do what a man's got to do. My question has been for a long time, 'what do we want them to do, that they can do and how can I help if he wants my help, Not do it for him or tell him what to do unless he asks me.

Congratulation for twenty-five years nd may you have fifty more. Tell your wife to write book on how it is done. We need tips or better yet, instructions. It is really sad that our men have so little confidence in themselves and where they fit in the Aadam community.
I know that sometimes the young women in my classes might have felt that I ignored them, but they didn't need the encouragement as much. It is so sad that young men feel so out there and no attachment . They need to know that for some of us, they re not on the bottom of the ladder. Just realize all they need to do is go for it. it is their right.

You know, sometimes the crazier one acts, the more effective one is. Sometimes, being "out of control" is what it takes to get your point cross. One has to know themselves very well inorder to operate this way. For if one doesn't, one can go too far and get into real trouble.

I would imagine that the student who was bullying his child, will wonder whether he would do what he said he would do. I'm sure the bus driver was wondering too.
