BE OF GOOD CHEER....
How well are you keeping your bodies? The Word has given us ways to present our bodies, however often time we fail at the test of keeping our bodies well as we should. We lack many, many ways upkeep and constantly we may groom ourselves to stay in the appearance of having our own bodies looking good.
This too, should also be the way we should keep our spiritual bodies too. For the body flesh is where our spiritual bodies are housed inside. When we are neglecting upkeep of one often the other is being neglected or misused in a similiar manner. Both we are body and spirit.
Your body matters! What you do, how you treat, what you put in and what comes from the body is joined too with your spiritual intake and outake. Now, if may I come across plainly to you, I'm referring also, of s*xual immoralities. Evidently, I know little about your personal agendas with your body so in general I'll tell what the Word gives you to follow about your body.
The Word teaches that you should flee from s*xual immorality because it is considered a sinful act against your own body. All others sins it mentioned are outside the body. Therefore, when you are commiting a s*xual act unworthly to your temple your body and spirit are defiled. Making you one who should true to God one who is a defiler of the unity you have with him in spirit. There is but example for the remedy of s*xual immoral acts-- that is a man should take a wife, and a woman should take a husband. Becoming married.
Becoming married in keeping your body presently sin free of s*xual uncleaness and promoting to becoming married to God. Your spirit is married to God because it your body that is is living temple. So your body matters to God, your spirit matters and since you should aim at fleeing s*xual tempations you make your body presently clean to that God lives in you without s*xual immoral joining inside you.
Your body is joined with Christ and that makes Him part of your body. It is a unity marriage of Spirit....How enlightening it is to know that a marriage in which the Spirit of God lives you.
YOUR BODY MATTERS!
Flee s*xual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who
commits s*xual immorality sins against his own body.
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,
Whom you have from God, and you are not your own.
For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and
in your spirit which are God's.
[1 Corinthians 6: 18-20]
