What is worse than a Uncle Tom.....2 of them (760 hits)

As an individual, sure we must learn how to survive. Wit, knowledge and ability allows one to survive without sacrificing your self worth. Inner peace comes from a balance between love of self and love of God and others. Caring to loving others and neglecting yourself produces a first class Uncle Tom. The others becomes those opposite to yourself while allowing for complete denial of being a part of a greater whole.

Eventually, when alone and left with yourself and God.....realization may set in. That your life is worthless....merely accenting the opposite of who you are. Thus, is the saga of the Uncle Tom......and there are so many uncle toms in America that it is disgraceful.

Hello Jamal,

We need to forget about uncle Toms and stop criticizing Black Americans even though at times it is very well warranted!

We need to spend our time setting our minds straight about issues one of which is who you say Black Americans are.

Many of us believe that we are African-Americans, Colored people, Black Hebrew Israelites and of course, you believe that we are the Asiatic Black man. However, our common sense would tell us that we could only be one kind of people. The people that we are is Black Americans a new race of people born out of the ashes of slavery when the old slave masters bred themselves with the African slaves they purchased from the slave traders over a period of 300 years that produced a new race of people known as Black Americans. Have I made any sense with you?

You got the concept from Elijah that Black Americans are Asiatic people. However, Mr. Elijah Muhammad is wrong and I am wiser than Mr. Elijah could have ever been since God has anointed me and not Elijah. Am I making any sense with you? There is no such thing as an Asiatic Black man.

This issue of who we are must take front row precedence even before we could move forward on becoming a sovereign people. We are the most ignorant people in White America.

So, since you believe of yourself that you are intelligent then tell me who you say that we are?

Saint...there are plenty of them. Cloaked as one that does not see color.....well a healthy set of eyes sees the rainbow of colors. BUT, Uncle Toms lead a life torn between two worlds; there world there are in ( A black person that ain't got ****); and a world that their slavemaster rules which give them an "atta boy".
