Strong Black Women ( Let's Keep It Real/Another Level)Black women are natural survivors, natural caregivers strong as they may be; when they need to they fail to show it. They have to take care of home first before they can tackle the world. Around there girls some of them put on a front telling each other what they won’t do in bed, what they won’t put up with, and how they have it like that? Those are the same women on the Tyra Banks show telling the world how their man never does anything, how he cheats, and beats on them… ladies respect yourselves enough not to allow a man who is not worthy of your love; bring you down to where you live through him. Educate your babies give them something they can take and show the universe. Mothers, daughters, lovers, friends, the essence of your being are constantly challenged because of your gender and our race. If you do not love yourself, take care of yourself, respect yourself, and take GOD where-ever you go….your journey in this world will become harder. you get on the men about keeping it real…Are you Keeping It Real or Are Most of you Still Living In Fantasy Land ??

some woman dont know how to live for themseleves they are telling each other lies and getting played ! men are turning into real dogs and doging out the sisters and they are going for the bull felling they have nowhere else to go or the kids real father is gone and the step father is beating up the whole family or holding the family in a financial hostage situation !!

It takes a real one to be one, this applies to both men and women!
I say BRING IT!
In both cases you have wannabes. it's all in your action.
We live in a confused nation where there are many who want to be the woman, and women who don't even know who they are and desire to be the man. In either case... somebody HAS GOT TO BE THE WOMAN! ( or girl ), ( notice that! )
The REAL Trinity... consist of both! The real ones! REAL MAN AND REAL WOMAN!
Break it, and you stand to be unprotected, and many lurk to catch you off guard so that your future and future generations can be swiped and snatched beneath your feet.
It's all about authenticity, (keeping it real!)
That can only be developed from within something only you can do.
The Dr. Wizard of Oz and Dr. Phil Good and others can't help you with finding your real being that will guide you to your so called better half.
Real love finds you.. if you're worthy, and you know it, feel it, believe it, and make it so.

black woman and men like to fake the funk and play games with each other and next thing you know you got a dysfunctional family and the kids don't want to go to school baby's having babies the boys to men is on the corner drinking or trying to buy a car selling two for one in the drug den then
its all on the first 48 hrs tv program
and nothing is changed !

That's exactly what's happening! Glad you recognize it for what it really is.
Misery loves company and the bottom line is jealousy. she doesn't even know that she's being manipulated but you do.
She's not her own woman until she stop listening to others about her man or her relationship with you. She may look and seem to be a woman but has a mind like a girl on that retrospect.
It's amazing, we use to not even tell each other our slips were showing, now we have a world of advice to offer each other.
Hang in there, she may figure it out sooner than you think.
Much of that will depend on you and your patience.
Long as you can keep your Goddess happy, the others and their advice won't matter or be important.

I hear a lot of judging going around, but I want to say, Sisters when are you going to be responsible for your own relationships. When you tell everyone one your business (your so called gurls) thats what happens, you get knocked upside your head with reality. I'm saying it from experience not to be blameful. I think it goes back to that 5-1 average. Woman become petty, jealous of what you have, spiteful, envious, and just downright dirty, but it was there all the time. Keep your gurls out your business and you wont have to ask yourself later what happened.
Another thing if you sit back and listen to your girls, and watch and see how they liven, you already know they suspect. Open your eyes sistas. We are mostly good people, but some of us can be hateful backstabbers. Im just saying!

If you're not real whether your sister or brother you're gonna be the first to know it! It's time to be REAL. So much time is spent in putting on the masks. I say stop trying to pretend and learn how to defend! Women are strong, naturally many women and men have good common sense. Black men have given their Black women so many con-games! So have Black women too.! I believe it's time to bring all the games to a halt. Our children are suffering for REAL PARENTS, which is both parents. Parents are needed that are real when they teach and also live good values of manners and morals. Children often inmintate what is being taught. They watch mentoring in parents. If you curse them, they often grow up and curse too. It's time to put some God-fearing commandments back into family. Women, young ladies and girls need to look for men with value and morals...equally yoked in the teaching of God. But not only in looking --actually living and doing these things. Faking the game hasn't work...most lies turn up uncovered. The truth is always honest and open. Women need to stop pretending and become real to themselves. Men need to stop using women and take up responsiblities they know are theirs. "If you don't respect yourself, no one else will either." The sad thing is the children copy what they see & all so often and grow up repeating the same cycles of life to the next generations ahead.

Soledad is married to a white man and has four children; all of her children look either white or white Italian looking. She says that she is raising her kids to be black. O'Brien anchored a CNN special, Black in America, in July 2007. The program documented the successes, struggles and complex issues faced by black men, women and families forty years after the death of Martin Luther King Jr.
You speak of strong black women....how about we start with sista's that practice the SAME THING THAT THEY PREACH. Women like Soledad obrien are phoney and I encounter them all the time. Black women seeking to skate AROUND black men then attaching to white men and affixiating on religion thinking to be strong is HARDLY REAL. Perhaps they think they are fooling God almighty. Despite the problems black men face, if a black women can manage to forge ahead holding allegiance to the black man, makes for a STRONG BLACK WOMAN ...FOR REAL.

I am me all day everyday and have never been the fake and fronting type of woman. I keep it real and in some cases probably too real for some, but this is their issue not mine to deal with. With me, what you see is what you get because if you're going to get to know me then that is the person you're getting to know. Sadly, too many people don't like themselves let alone love themselves and create a facade to gain the approval and acceptance of others. Once they show their true selves and are not accepted anymore they then deal with the rejection of such. People will either like me or they don't, accept me for who I am or they won't, but at the end of the day as long as I love the person I'm looking at in the mirror is all that really matters. I love me and all of my imperfections.
