Power of the African Soil Middle Kingdom pt Iv (362 hits)

Upon the death of Hatshepsut, the power was transferred to Tuthmoses III which began the reign of the 18th dynasty. His kingdom included western Asia, islands of the eastern Mediterranean, such as Babylonia, Cilicia, Hittite states, Cyprus, Crete, Syria, and Palestine. Mizriaim was the technical, military and imperial power of the then known world.

Tuthmosis III was a merciful ruler. According to Breasted, ">>>the man of tireless energy unknown in any Pharoah.... His reign marked epoch, not only in Egypt but in the whole east...."

Tuthmosis III died when he was eighty two. One of his obelisks found its way to Central Park in New York City. This Nubian King was know as the Napoleon of Far Antiquity, mightiest conqueror and administrator. His war strategies were studied far after the fall of Egypt into modern times. Napoleon studies his war journals religiously.

He started as a priest and in conflict with his sister for power. His time came when she died. he rose to power and made a mark that surpassed what she had done before him. He is credited with bring Egypt back to its greatness. According to J. A. Rogers, Great Men of Color, he feared no man or animal; he was fearless. He was a warrior, who let his own armies into battle. Unlike most conquorers, he was merciful, reports Breasted.

He was a man of great character and individuality than any of the other kings except for Ikhnaton. Breaste reports, "The genius for the first time in history that rose from an obscure priestly office accomplished [this greatness] reminds us of a later Alexander or Napoleon. Tuthmosis built the first real Empire ... the first character to be aclaimed HERO. "From the vastnesses of Asia Minor, the marshes of the Euphrates, the islands of the sea, the marshes of Babylonia, the distant shores of Libya, the oasis of the Sahara, the terraces of the Somali, coast, and the upper cataracts of the Nile ...his feats [spoke ] to his greatness." J. A. Rogers

During his time, the country belonged to the King but he allowed all of his subjects access to the land, unconditionally. The greatest conflict existed because foreigners and invaders had a different attitude about the military and the economy. They were also in conflict about property and land.

He built many temples and another of his oblisks stands in tribute on thee Thames in London.

Any one who sees his bust will attest to his blackness. There is no doubt, once you visit Egypt and view the many artifacts dug from the sand in this originally Black country, whether Egyot is in Africa and if it was founded by the son of Ham that the people were and are black, That is if what the bible says is true and that Ham was a black man. Tuthmosis is mentioned in the bible too.
