Jake, the saying what a woman don't know won't hurt them is BS. I ain't never been married however engaged once and I can relate. The man may start off thinking that he can handle it but women have a built in intuition telling them pretty much (coming clean here) when her man is sticking her and then leaving to go to stick another woman.
For the most part we (not all women) may pretend not to know but we do and therefore deal with it making you think we don't know. But most women aren't that confrontational they know the marriage is f#$^ed up but they wait on God or "karma" to take care of it...Or put it on the kids and say....I'll stay with him for the kids (which is not realistic in my opinion).
But having a mistress is not the same as having a wife, when you have a wife there suppose to be a commitment between everyone involved. Everyone is a unit a family working together to achieve family goals they share.
