he frustrations of trying to live out your dreams can be quite a nightmare. Now, more than ever, people are becoming more aware of the need to take back their lives, by exploring entrepreneurial opportunities in effort to control their own economy.
There are a ton of personal development books that have been written over the last 20-30 years that deal with the process of change and how it starts with the mind. Many of those books became best sellers! What that means is millions of people bought and read those books (hopefully). However, the majority of people who read personal development material end up becoming junkies of the system who experience no significant change.
Their change is only temporary and many of their successes are short-lived. Change begins with speaking different, so that you hear different, so that you ultimately behave different. Change does not come from reading, it comes from speaking.
Now, of course, you do need to read information that will help you achieve your desired result. But until that information becomes your conversation, there is no stimulation of the mind. Speech is often the process in which change begins.
When I tell you that you can change your life forever by learning how to "speak" your mind, I am NOT telling you to "say" what's on your mind. I am telling you that "speaking" is the catalyst for conditioning your mind. In the Bible, Romans 10:17 tells us that "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God", so know that when you speak you are ultimately building your belief system.
The more you speak it, the more you begin to believe it. Bob Harrison says that change takes place in one of two ways:
1. Emotional implantation - Many people are conditioned by some event that has taken place in their lives that has caused them to change their pattern of behavior from its' previous state.
2. Repetition - The process of repeating to yourself, or having someone else repeating to you a new way of thinking will ultimately lead to new patterns of behavior. Repetition programs both the conscious and the subconscious mind with a new mindset that creates like actions.
Start your process of change today by "speaking" your mind. Mark 11:23 lets us know that "he shall have whatsoever he saith". Whatever it is that you desire to achieve, don't allow yourself to believe that reading new information is all that it takes for you to do it. Remember, success begins with the mindset. So if your mindset isn't conducive to the change that you desire, condition your thinking by speaking the mindset that you need to achieve the success you so rightfully deserve!
