such wonderful technology the internet brings
allowing us to share so many things
our joy and our laughter, our sadness and tears
our happiness, worries and even our fears
even though we've not met, we'll defend and protect
stand up for and fight for ... our friends on the net
as big as it is, it remains very small
as if you were only right down the hall
my Sister, i see you in that skin tight black dress
got me want'n ta hate as you continue to stress
all the Brothers that's look'n and smiling at you
as i whisper hey Sis does that come in red too?
the web is so tight, we can hang out all night
reading poems, sharing chat
talk'n 'bout this ... talk'n 'bout that
my Brother, i hear you as you shoot me that line
trying to run that game, trying to blow my mind
it's all good though, this mind needs to be blown
it's been 99 years and that's way too long
i'm really just teasing but you know i'm for real
this internet thing has so much appeal
thanking God right now as I do always
that this technology is more than a phase
allowing me to touch and be touched by you
