Where are Rep. Charlie Rangel's LONG TIME FRIENDS (288 hits)

One of Congress' most likable veterans, Rep. Charles Rangel, would become the 23rd House member in the nation's history to be censured if the House goes along with a recommendation of its ethics committee.

Rangel, newly re-elected with 40 years of House service behind him, was reduced to pleading with the ethics committee Thursday to refrain from calling him corrupt. What happen to all of his friends. The ones he invited to his home. Those that knows his family and have been to picnics together.

He was left out on a limb looking at white people thinking he was above blacks...and looked around...and no one was there but one. In a vote out of 10: 9 to 1 voted AGAINST HIM. This is why black people cannot get out of their own skin which is why the love of self and kind is the best love there is.

When messenger Elijah Muhammad was teaching that all whites are the Devil and be careful of them....Rep. Charlie Rangel was saying that whites were his friends and closest comrads.....Well....where are they now...they are not answering his calls...they cannot be reached by Charlie.....they are talking about him behind their back....and they are getting ready to destroy every once of self respect Rep. Rangel has left.

I am Black and I know that Rangel's White friends are not the ones who VOTED FOR HIM...therefore I believe his career depended on those of the Black skin persuations...

but, then I may be just prejudice for believing Blacks have a lot o fpower and a lot of common sense.(smile)

Jamal, I was pissed at rangle a long time fo rhis using his postion of those Black votes to try and get votes for Hillary...Hillary as long as she was in D.C. I bet they never asked his Az over for dinner or even a drink of water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know who I am more angry with him or those still williing to allow him to still say he is Black...but at least he did not play the race card like Calarance Thomas did. (smile)
