S.510 Showdown is Monday...
Start Flooding the Senate with Emails NOW!
What can we do? We can Persevere and Prevail --- if Millions Act Together... nearly a MILLION emails about the fake "safety" bills have gone through our Action Item system since the House took the issue up over a year ago.
Food Fascism (yes, that is not too strong a term!) is just three days away.
To prevent this dire outcome, millions of people must act together over the next couple days! Our Senators are home until Monday when they will be back in Washington, at the “lame duck” congressional session.
There is still a bit of time for the Home Folks to tell them what we want: Vote “No!” on S. 510. Even Dr. Coburn’s well-intentioned amendment striping some of the worst clauses from the bill does not go far enough to protect local, organic, family, community food production and distribution! The amendment to which the sponsors and Sen Tester agreed actually reduces the exempt territory from 400 to 275 miles from the farm.

Jake I could not agree with you more. My exact thoughts after reading you continuity of government blog. We really need to unite against our common enemy. We can't afford to be distracted by these other issues, which pale in comparison. Have you heard about chem trails? The are spraying aluminum into the atmosphere (to protect us from global warming, another lie), and only the genetically modified food will be able to grow in the fallout.
Harry, you are so far behind, it is a shame.

Being informed is the first step. It was my son who told be about the chem trails, and also about fluoride. In fact as I was talking to him, he looked at the fluoride content of some juice his wife had just brought home for the kids, and immediately threw it out. He told me to check if my water here is fluoridated. In order to keep the lines of communication open, we need to make sure they don't take the Internet away from us. We know they are afraid of the spread of information. So that's the first line of defense. Beyond that, I don't know. How to really mobilize the population? Too many are unwilling to believe in conspiracies, or that the government could be anything but beneficent. We need to join forces on a myriad of levels. Let's keep the information flowing. We need to do the research, and that requires a time commitment. So I need to go see if my water is fluoridated first, but then act on the information if it is.

Clark, so true. I just finished watching the entire film linked above. I had only watched the trailer, but this is something I hope will be a real wakeup call. It is now going up as a separate blog. It's about 98 minutes long, but I'm going to start with part 6 where they (mostly attempt to) interview our Representatives and Senators, and if that doesn't open some eyes I don't know what will.

The video links I posted have a major segment on Mt. Shasta. They are finding 10s of 1000s higher levels of aluminum in what should be pure snow on Mt. Shasta. I hope you watched the documentary, but I've not finished going through the comments yet, just got on site.

Ok Brothas & Sistas, lets dispel the myths here and then get to the meat. This is the take Im getting from this Bill and its an amendment to the current bill already in force. I just started reading it, but from what I get out of it is this. This does not affect home farmers, meaning those who grow their own food for their own tables, so mama’s and papa’s, if you have gardens you keep on growing your food, for now, but because nothing is explicitly exempted, anything could happen in the near future.
However this amendment will affect local farmers, so if you buy from places like farmers market etc, they are going to be hit, which means it will affect your pockets also. They won’t be able to compete with big nationalized farmers as half of their proceeds will go to taxes and penalties, which mean these new regulations can knock out the little farmer. One false claim and its over. They have to follow rules of the big bad government, giving the FDA the highest control over food production, and because current regulations haven’t worked (salmonella outbreaks, and other food contamination), my question is this: Giving the FDA more control is going to do what for the American people? What I see this as a means for the government to make more money off the food industry, but what they don’t see is when they hit the lowly farmer, they are messing with people’s livelihood, and nobody’s going to stand for that, so they’ve got a fight on their hands.
Now this update is due. The laws and regulations over food hasn’t been updated since 1938. Yearly 76 million illnesses occur including 5000 deaths, but as non of these deaths came from any small farmers a clause has also been issued from a Democrat I might add to not include these small farmers in these regulations, but of course its being met with dissension from the right. I don’t know as of yet if this clause was accepted or if the bill went through as is, but clearly something needs to be done. The questions is WHAT? It definitely isn’t government. They mess up everything they put their hands on.
