When the Phoenicians had the knowledge; they had the power. Even when the Ancient Egyptians had superior knowledge of chemistry, metallurgy and metal working; they had the power. Oh, but then the Greeks learned the knowledge from the aboriginal Greeks, followed by the Greeks knowledge becoming superior. They passed a superior knowledge to the Romans. It was challenged by the knowledge of the Persians and other East nations civilizations. They burned the source of knowledge of the African people which were the libraries. The European and then American knowledge took off...way far ahead and out of reach of the darker people of the world.
