Beebe, AR
12.31.2010
The small somewhat rural township of Beebe, Arkansas was not showered with your ordinary rainstorm, but with a birdstorm as thousands of Red-Winged Blackbirds fell upon the ground dead. Residents said the small town looked like something from an Alfred Hitchcock movie. The dead blackbirds littered the ground, streets and roofs of homes and yards. The game and fish patrol helped clean up the bird's rembrants and will give testing to see what may have caused their all so sudden deaths. The birds started dropping around 4 a.m. New Year's morning and continued to around 12 p.m that afternoon. The clean-up process took several hours, but most of the dead birds have been removed. No explanation as to the actual cause of their deaths, but speculation point to weather conditions. People in the town are still in awe of the happenings.
This is a strange and Odd story...
Each time I write about one there's another as they keep
getting Odder!
I'll be around...
Lookout!....It's raining birds!
LOL!
