The archaeological dig in Ebla, Syria, a prominent ancient district that attracted Israel and other nations of that epoch, uncovered a tablet written forty five centuries ago that is said to have contained the most complete record of ancient civilization. This discovery initiated revisions to theories of the origin of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, even making some comments in modern Bible translations obsolete and compelling modern Biblicists to honor the Bible with greater historical accuracy. Not only did the discovery of the tablet give light to Biblical names such as Adam, Eve, David and Jonah, it also reflected evidence of a flood story. How does this acquaint with the African Continent? It sheds light on Ham, a son of Noah who declared to be the patriarchal-ancestral father of Africa and parts of Asia, thus dictating that their complexion was black. This was the beginning of Africa’s contribution to Judaism and Christianity, and all religions of antiquity that are said to have their own origins in Africa.
In fact, as knowledge began to spread of Christianity following the crucifixion of Jesus, Madonnas, icons, crucifixes, and all related Christian relics were portrayed as Africans. The African Saint Maurice, became the guardian saint of Rome, and there were several African popes. But it was not long after the first slaves were transported from Africa by Europeans that Pope Julius !!, in 1505 ordained the painting of certain religious works by Michelangelo, and in so doing endowed the concept of a white God. The paintings also included the portrait of Mary, mother of Christ, whose traditional black features were altered to resemble a Florentine Roman woman. Michelangelo also applied this same misrepresentation to the Child Jesus, the three wise men, and Christ in the Last Judgment and Resurrection; eliminating all traces of their original skin color! Not only were the images changed (like the ancient Egyptians, the Hebrews, Babylonians, Persians, and Chinese, but facial features came to resemble that of white ancestry. Today Spain and Poland still honor a black Madonna as their protecting saint The black Polish Madonna, Our Lady of Czestochowa, is believed to have been painted by Jesus' disciple Luke, and is one of a few remaining paintings that depict the true features of an ancient Hebrews-black People.
To this day American and European clergy are still promoting the fable, that Ham's black skin was the result of being cursed by his father Noah. They have preached this tale with such vigor and consistency that it would appear they have convinced even themselves of it. No such thing is recorded in the Bible. To the Contrary, every curse spoken of in the Bible dealing with skin color states that the cursed ones were turned white. In fact, Miriam, Naaman, Gehazi, Uzziah and the hand of Moses were all turned white as a result of a curse. Therefore, it could not be more obvious that they were originally black.
