The Queen's Chair: Craigslist Congressman Resigns (468 hits)

What is it with politicians from Western New York. Republican Representative Craig Lee resigned suddenly yesterday. Turns out the married politician and father of a young child, placed an ad on Craigslist in their single's section. He sent a woman photos of him shirtless and in a political pose and stated he was 39, a classy guy, and used his real name. He's actually 46. What a dope!

Is there something I'm missing because I don't understand what placing a Craiglist ad and being a Congressman has to do with the other? Shouldn't that be something he and his wife deals with? Just thinking.

@ Jen: It should, but because of social media this story broke. The irony is that he proposed legislation to raise the age of those holding FB, MySpace and other sites. He claimed kids didn't understand that if you put pictures out there, they make come back to haunt you. His definitely is.

@ Richard: He may have represented the area I live in, but he was NEVER my congressman. lolol I swear why do they feel the law applies to everyone else but them? The snow is alright with me. I suggest he and Massa spend the rest of their lives fixing their respective messes with their family.
