I strolled down memory lane with Oprah Winfrey. She saluted soap acting stars Darnell Williams and Debi Morgan, daytime TV's super couple Dr. Angie and Police Chief Jesse Hubbard on the soap "All My Children", as well as Susan Lucci (femme fatale Erica Kane) and Michael E. Knight (Tad 'the cad' Martin.) Morgan was the first and still the only black woman to win an acting Emmy in daytime TV. She won in 1988 and Williams won his acting Emmy the same year. They've been on the show more than 22 years.
Lucci revealed that she is 64 years old. She is gorgeous and my jaw dropped. She let viewers see her New York estate, showed off her exercise routine, her memoir is coming out in March (I'll be buying it.), admitted to taking a pay cut to keep the show going, and Oprah brought her character's ex eight husbands (her character has been married 11 times---a Daytime record. For me, this was a BLAST from the past. My mom got me hooked on this show. I still watch to this day. It was nice hanging out with old time friends.
