They came in record numbers by the ten of thousands, they faced deaths, they endured with injuries, they cried tears and they cried with voices calling for freedom. Although they had a twist of changes from one day to another they waited for the day of "A jovial freedom." The world took watch with eyes of emotional astonishments as a people recaptured their freedom to oust out 30 years of rule under President Mubarak's reign. To much credit the military has forced the resignation of the leader. Sources indicate that military and the supreme council joined in the rival against Mubarak's stay. For the last few hours the now former president was stern to stay in office, but had given some leadership powers over the vice president. The people didn't give up but held on until their main support to have the president go.
Now the celebration is in place, many are not very concerned with what's next, but are seeking what is fair and equal for the citizens of Egypt. New laws, changes and a new democratic government is facing a design with Egypt's celebration. History has made this day a day Mubarak's reign has ended. The people have brought down the regime. The vice president in a televised statement said Mubarak has departed from Cairo, and has resigned his position as president of Egypt.
Commentary:
Throughout this story, I have read and followed many story lines and even spent hours trying to understand the strong hold of one man for many years over a country. I have also grown in a undercurrent of hope for the better living conditions of Egypt's people, and I in all wish a unity in the whole world. I know there will be oppositions of men against men, but I have a strong faith in God who is over all things that men do. I am as jovial as I can be for Egypt, and I am also praying for other nations to find God and edify his power is the ultimate freedom for all men of the earth. For me, it is I who give God the Glory!
