Obama gives black leaders bad news about 2011 budget cuts

Among the constituencies bracing for deep cuts in the fiscal 2012 federal budget, African-Americans are as worried as anyone. And with good reason, as President Obama explained to a group of black elected officials gathered at the White House Tuesday.

We all should have seen this coming. We have been in a position to strategize on what we were/can do do to get our people employed and less dependend on the government.

wHAT AMAzES ME is I posted on wed. the peep of the republican's budget cuts that the program on MSNBC out lined the billions to be cut from programs that helps protect us from big oil and teh millions to be cut from our local police and retraining for jobs programs...I have yet to even see or hear if anyone else has heard / seen this report of the Republicans ever being sown to the public as they had promised to do on Thursday...does anyone know about this if it was in deed published??? THANKS (smile)
