Keeping affordable housing available
More than 14,000 ColorOfChange members call on the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to drop its lawsuit against residents of the St. Bernard public housing development in New Orleans, who returned to clean up their units and start rebuilding their community. The campaign calls on Congress and HUD’s secretary to stop trying to keep poor Katrina evacuees from returning to New Orleans.
