Moammar Gadhafi's regime following orders has taken hold on protesters with threats of a civil war. With hundreds of protesters killed in bloody shootings and massacures the leader holds an umbrella of war over those who continue to march in government protests. The longest serving Arab leader appeared on TV to boldly let the people know he has not left Tripoli, and boldy showing off his staying rule of power. He was scheduled to speak to his supporters, but rainy weather detered his visit.
Reports claimed that the Pro-Gadhafi militia drove through Tripoli with loudspeakers and told people not to leave their homes. This was to keep tight control over and protesting in the city. The military has demonstrated tough intimidation over the population and are using violent messages of the gun to control with gripping fear. Gunfire can be hear ringing in the streets where youths gather many often struck down. Slaugherings are frequent headlines in peaceful demonstrations.
The warning of Civil War came from an announcement over State TV quoted Sief al-Islam, Gadhafi's son stating that the military conducted airstrikes in romote areas and denied that any warplanes attacked Tripoli and Benghazi. Jordianians however gave stories with accounts of a "bloodbath"' in Tripoli. Sief al Islam was also said quoting on State TV what appeared to be a waring that if protests continue a civil war will erupt! He also claimed that oil wealth "will be burned." He reinterated that his father Moammar Gadhafi is our leader is leading the battle and that the armed forces are with him. A report said he quoted as saying: "Tens of thousands are heading here to be with him." "We will fight until the last man, the last woman, the last bullet!" Total chaos is spreading.
