What I don't get is how the Republicans can call for shared sacrifice and claim that taxes are killing business--when business is rolling in profits--business is killing the rest of us!!!

Exactly.

Lawerence's point was a good one--just close the loopholes! Let them have their deductions--but tighten them so they can do their patriotic duty and share in our supporting our government the way everybody else does.
