CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- It's going to be tough day for students at Union Academy in Monroe. They go back to school today for the first time since police recovered the body of their classmate Phylicia Barnes.
On Thursday police in Maryland announced they found her body in a river.
The 16-year-old from Union County disappeared just after Christmas while visiting family in Baltimore. There are still a lot of unanswered questions, including how she died and who is responsible.
Today school officials at Union Academy plan to talk to us about how Phylicia's death is impacting students during a news conference scheduled for 11 a.m.
