Spiritually when Jesus spoke of being the True Vine he was speaking of the heavenly kingdom and things known of his purpose with God.
Just recently an amazed community in Kinston discovered another vine...The Kudzu vine is seen taking up it's growth of a utility pole which many have claimed to see the similarity of Christ's face featured in the vine shape. The vine story is growing; as well as it's growing popularity which has gained national and world attention. Many have different opinions as of; they can see the vine has the looks and or faces of Christ, and indicate it has definately something to do with Jesus, ... and some claimed they see nothing else but a mere coincidence of nature growing a vine that has taken over a utlility pole shaped like as crucifix...no faces-- or even having anything pertaining to the Cross of Christ.
About the Kudzu vine it's origin is it was imported from Japan to help the prevention of soil erosion, but its spread is much greater in the south and has found it's way to California and other climates where crops may be grown. For some it gives some symbolism of the resembling Jesus? No matter how you look, or think of it..truth be told it is truly a "vine."
