MCLAREN NAMED CHAMBER PRESIDENT FOR BRONX HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Bronx Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announces Arlene McLaren as the new President of the Chamber. McLaren is a resident of the Bronx and the President of McLaren & Associates, Inc. She has been a long time member of the Bronx Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and serves as Mistress of Ceremonies for Chamber of Commerce events.
McLaren has a background in business, marketing and politics. She has a BA in Political Science and a Master’s Degree from Fordham University.
Sara Bravo is the new Chairperson for the Bronx Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Frank Garcia; former President of the Bronx Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is now Chair of the New York Statewide Coalition of Hispanic Chambers.
McLaren said, “I am delighted to serve as the new president of the Bronx Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. I believe that my education and experience will prove to be a valuable asset to the Bronx Business Community.”
The Bronx Hispanic Chamber of Commerce provides its members with a variety of programs and services. Some of them include: Hispanic and Minority Business Development, Access to Capital, Loans and SBA, Member to Member Discount Program, Increase Visibility, Export and Import, Web Link and Listing, Email Marketing Service, Membership Directory, Networking Opportunities and Coaching, Conferences & Seminars, Incubation Program, and Business Referrals
The Chamber receives numerous business inquiries from the residential and business community. These people are always referred to chamber members for potential business.
