So here's the story...
A visitor to New York for a biker's convention held in back in May 2011 discovered that an officer of the law pulled her over after a short ride. The woman wasn't speeding, nor running a red light, or breaking any traffic violations, but she did take a short ride!
One of New York Finest according to the New York Daily News pulled the convention traveler over for riding her bike in a "too short skirt" The officer questioned the visitor from New Amsterdam for her identification and gave her a warning that she was disturbing, dangerous, and distracting traffic. Although Jasmign Rijcken thought it was a joke, she realized the officer was totally serious. After some brief questions the officer issued no citation, took a good long look, and released her with a verbal warning. Rijcken returned to her hotel and changed from her short skirt into pants. She was quoted as saying "I didn't want to get in trouble again."

"That skirt must have been really short huh?"
You can't do that to people driving
in New York!!
...especially to New York Cops!!!
"She got a bike legs!" But she needs a permit to
show them riding around on a bike with that "too short skirt...."
"Cops have to watch the traffic HOME GIRL!!!"
LOL!
