Facebook recently changed it's automated systems that blocked many enviornmental activists and other likewise posting from their Facebook pages. In doing so many were innocent participants were targeted by their anit-spam ware. A spokeman from Facebook offered an apology for the inconvenience which caused many site users to be labled as spam and thus having their blogs removed or deleted from blogging and or their favorite social networks. Many were not allow to post anything for at least 15 days. Many Facebook users expressed their anger because they had blogged for many years.
The program isn't full proof and was designed to automatically to monitor and protect any suspcious material as spam. Facebook noted their systems classify over 10 billion actions of suspicions and logins daily including wall postings.. Spokesman from Facebook, Andrew Noyes said "Though Facebook is not in business to enable account users & they want to maintain a place where people can openly express their views and opinions". .."Of course, no system is perfect, and we do sometimes make mistakes."
Late Thursday afternoon this apology was issued to many users that were blocked:
"Your account was mistakenly blocked from posting on Pages. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We've lifted the block from your account and you should be able to post again."
