What tools can one use in meditation? If you include tools or would like to include tools to increase your meditation there are many sources to have. If you are a follower of Christ the most important tool would be the Word and You. However, for other meditation tools to the Creator God can include candles, incense, and lighting. A mediation table or stand or a meditation area is also a useful and somewhat essential tool. Because your meditation is directed in your own personal realtionship with God I can hardly dictate to you what is the correct tool you have for your personal meditation as far as objects in your presence. This is because intense meditation is not pleasing to "eyes of men tools," but to God and in conducting your meditations knowing your main goal is on the Lord. Your meditation must be pleasing in the sight of the Lord. Be mindful tools and intruments to use in meditation are never a requirement for meditating. You are the real tool and instrument.
God does not require any tools of the world, but actually acknowledges only tools of your being. Your heart, mind, body and spirit. These are the tools you should always lift up to God in prayer, praise and meditation. Your heart devoted, your mind with collective thoughts of God, your body a dwelling place of the Spirit's sacrifice, and your Spirit being that One which is Holy. These please God and learning to use these are tools you'll be in for developing a beautiful relationship with Divine Power over all things. The tool is living within you and is elements of your spiritual meditation and whole body.
"O Lord, how great are thy works! and
thy thoughts are very deep.
[Psalm 92:5]
"It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and to sing praise unto thy name."
[Psalm: 92:1]
"Even them will I bring in my house of prayer; their burnt offering and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called the house of prayer."
[Isaiah: 56:7]
"You" are the tool of the Lord, and so is your meditation. Use these tools that never fade away from you inside. Your tools make you God's instrument these and you edify the Lord with your true self.
"Let the words of my mouth, the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O' Lord my strength and my redeemer."
[Psalm: 19:14]
