PENNSYLVANIA REPUBLICANS CHANGE THE WAY ELECTORAL VOTES ARE COUNTED TO HELP THEIR CANDIDATE WIN PRESIDENCY (828 hits)

RACHEL MADDOW SHOW, September 14, 2011-- In 2008, President Obama won Pennsylvania by more than 10 points. That gave him 21 electoral votes out of the 270 needed to win the presidency.

Republicans in Pennsylvania plan to change the way electoral votes are counted so that if President Obama performs in 2012 exactly the same way he did in 2008, he would get a net gain of 1 electoral vote.

So by persuading no more people, by winning no more votes, by winning no more congressional districts than in 2008, Republicans have found a way to make up as many as 20 electoral votes for their candidate.

This is HUGE. This can be the entire election right here.

This is the Republicans moving the goalposts, changing the rules to bernefit them. It is voter manipulation.

As, as Gov. Rendell says, it is shameful and grossly unfair.

Rich, this subject was on my mind as I watched the EdShow coming live from Ohio tonight...he was talking with the firemen on the subject of the republican governor and his administration's Senate Bill 5 that has been 'rigged' against them...now much like in Wisconsin and it will move on toe Pa and Fl and teh rest on who will be put out of service first teh governor or these bills because eh voters are not out to play in these next 14 months...they are takin gon all bullies standing in between them and their best interest i protecting their jobs, schools and families as teh voters have not been doing for a very long time now...

I am so proud of this voter's remorse movement not to mention our president going directly to the public, th ereal and actual government. lol! (smile)
