Black People should reject the disrespectful order to serve Occupy Wall Street (1025 hits)

In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful.
Who came to us in the person of Master Fard Muhammad the long awaited Madhi, who raised up for us the Christ, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad; and I could never thank Allah enough for His guidance and mercy to us, that He left for us a divine reminder in our midst, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. He is a teacher who knows God, and he knows man; who knows the Time, and what must be done and who knows, and is preparing us for the Change of Worlds, for the world in which we live has been sentenced to death.

Black People should reject the disrespectful order to serve Occupy Wall Street

As-Salaam Alaikum:

As the Minister of Information with Black Unity, it is my duty to confirm Black Unity’s position in regards to Occupy Wall Street and Occupy the Hood. There are some things in which we agree and then there are major things we disagree. Let me be clear. We are not against ending capitalism or against people organizing to hold big corporations accountable for the extreme damage they are causing.
But we refused to be used or allow our people to be used for our destruction. America and her people have lived so rich and so joyfully in wickedness, murder, robbery and hatred of one another until it has hardened their hearts so much that they are made to think that they can make friends and live on with those upon whom they have no mercy. I say that because white people who created the Wall Street occupation campaign are silent on our suffering. Once they saw their world going down they want to protest and call on the very people that they refuse to see as your equal you remind me of the parable of the good Samaritan “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a good Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil. Then he put the man on his donkey, brought him to an innkeeper to care for him, he paid the innkeeper two denarii and said if it is more than what I have paid you: I will pay you on my return,’ “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Like Jesus said go and do likewise you never came to us to pour any oil or take us to the innkeeper. Then you disrespect yourself by using our slang to attract us, like we are making the call that you set up. Then you act like this is a leaderless group but in fact it’s not leaderless. Someone had to set this up and someone had to pay for it and someone had to think it. You would be better by being honest with us and not be deceptive. We have to organize with the reality that we are on our own. Nobody cares about our issues and we are going to have to do some serious reflection about our issues and how to gain what we must have. Otherwise we will always be used as a tool for any so called group that needs bodies to fill the ranks.

Our main problem is sovereignty as opposed to a lack of civil rights; we have that why would we go to another man and beg for a right when God gave us our rights! When the enemy calls us to his so called noble idea’s we always suffer and come out thinking we got what we really don’t have. A older Brother said” his great grandfather was a slave and he thanked his Master for allowing him to buy his freedom but when he reflected he didn’t have freedom like he thought he had he felt bad that he thanked his Master”. We must learn from the civil rights movement they changed our goal of freedom or liberation to civil rights to be more understandable to white people. We must never do that again because look at the crap we have to deal with today! We must not sell our people out to have broad appeal with them (White people); to hell with them!!

Dr. King said these words in the letter from a Birmingham jail,” I must honestly reiterate that I have been disappointed with the church. I do not say that as one of those negative critics who can always find something wrong with the church. I say it as a minister of the gospel who loves the church, who was nurtured in its bosom, who has been sustained by its Spiritual blessings, and who will remain true to it as long as the cord of life shall lengthen. I had the strange feeling when I was suddenly catapulted into the leadership of the bus protest in Montgomery several years ago that we would have the support of the white church. I felt that the white ministers, priests, and rabbis of the South would be some of our strongest allies. Instead, some few have been outright opponents, refusing to understand the freedom movement and misrepresenting its leaders; all too many others have been more cautious than courageous and have remained silent behind the anesthetizing security of stained-glass windows. In spite of my shattered dreams of the past, I came to Birmingham with the hope that the white religious leadership of this community would see the justice of our cause and with deep moral concern serve as the channel through which our just grievances could get to the power structure. I had hoped that each of you would understand. But again I have been disappointed. I have heard numerous religious leaders of the South call upon their worshipers to comply with a desegregation decision because it is the law, but I have longed to hear white ministers say, follow this decree because integration is morally right and the Negro is your brother. In the midst of blatant injustices inflicted upon the Negro, I have watched white churches stand on the sidelines and merely mouth pious irrelevancies and sanctimonious trivialities”. And it’s still this way today Family, please let’s be wise and reject the call of the slave master’s children. They are no different than the parents. They want to use you for their good and your destruction!

Thank you for reading these few words.

Sincerely,

Maurice Muhammad Minister of Information Black Unity www.blackunity.ning.com
