As reported by the Press of Atlantic "ATLANTIC CITY - Six people have been arrested in the deadly March abduction of a teen from Atlantic City.
Four masked gunmen took Nadirah Ruffin, 19, from a Back Maryland home late March 26, witnesses who were duct taped in the attack told police. After the community spent nearly a month searching for the young mother, her body was found in Philadelphia's Schuylkill River on April 19. She died of a gunshot wound to the head. A handcuff was dangling from her left ankle.
Three Atlantic City residents - a woman and two men - were arrested this morning and charged with kidnapping resulting in the victim's death, along with robbery and weapons offenses.
Three of those arrested share the victim's last name, but are not related to her.
Shamerria Smith, 24, Aziz Sanders, 18, and Deshawn Hicks, 19, will appear before U.S. Magistrate Judge Joel Schneider this afternoon.
Two other men were arrested and charged with tampering with a potential witness in connection with the investigation. Henry Ruffin, 40, of Williamstown, and Ronnie Ruffin, 42, of Lindenwold, are accused of using physical force and threats of physical force to
prevent a witness from providing information to the FBI and other investigating officers.
Ronnie Ruffin is Smith's father. Henry Ruffin is an uncle of Smith, Sanders and Isiah Ruffin.
Isiah Ruffin, 20, of Atlantic City, was arrested and charged with giving false information to FBI special agents who were investigating Nadirah Ruffin's kidnapping and killing.
Nadirah Ruffin grew up in Atlantic City, but was living with her aunt, uncle and toddler son in Egg Harbor Township at the time of her abduction."
May they all get and serve the MAXIMUM-NO PLEA DEALS
