LL Cool J, wife Simone Smith and daughter Italia Smith gave BIG this weekend in the name of cancer to the sound of $100K. Impressive right?!
The Smiths co-hosted “Why Fashion Matters,” a benefit to raise money and awareness of cancer research. This was really important to the family because Simone is a cancer survivor. Simone, also a jewelry designer, auctioned off some of her collection with LL serving as the auctioneer.
“We’re going to raise a lot of money for cancer awareness, give some to the American Cancer Society and hopefully make a big difference,” LL said.
They ended up raising more than $100,000 for the organization. Hats off to the Smith family!
