FOOD FOR THOUGHT...U.S GOVERNMENT, DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, AND SEALED RECORDS (4043 hits)

It has come to my understanding that there are records pertaining to Dr. Martin Luther King's life which are being kept a from the public eye until by the U.S. Governement until a certian point in the future.

It is rumored that it is because the records would show King as not being the humble and innocent man the media has portrayed him to be. Now I don't necessarily buy into that because when did this U.S. government ever gave a s*** about making a Black man look bad in public?

Therefore I ask the following questions, if the sealed records is not about making a black man look bad in public, then what could be the reason?

Also, has an effort been made via the courts to overturn this decision by the government?

Last but not least, what other public figures have records sealed in this manner by the government?

My beautiful almost perfect daughter...again try to understand how and why our government hid all of those poems and actual documentations written by Chatel slaves...it is because to this day too, too many of us still belive thAt LIE that slaves could not read and write...DWERE HAPPY SLAVES...ECT.!!!!!!!!!!!
