HOW ADVOCATES SUCCEEDED GETTING MENTAL HEALTH FUNDING (We Can do It Again) (1410 hits)


When the Kingdom of Advocates work together and stand firm pushing in prayer and works, God responds with Grace!

December 20, 2011 -- Congress has passed a $1 trillion omnibus appropriations package to fund the government through the end of fiscal year (FY) 2012 (September 30, 2012). Averting a government shutdown, this package provides funding for a broad range of important mental health, education, and other programs.

Goin' give GOD the glory! Halleluia! Halleluia! Hallelui!



Thanks to your advocacy, Congress rejected over $200 million in cuts to vital SAMHSA-funded community-based mental health programs and services. House appropriators had proposed these cuts in H.R. 3070.
